Pikmin 3 in the pipeline

Pikmin 3 in the pipeline

In response to a question given to the Nintendo Developer Roundtable at E3, Shigsy apparently came out with this quote:

"We're making Pikmin".

That's it, plain as can be. No platform has been confirmed, but people at large are assuming it will be for Wii.

How do you feel about that?

Finally. Nintendo has always been difficult on announcements, but this is great. Now let's bug him for Pikmin 4. We should find out about that around 2015.

I never played Pikmin before, and Olimar sucks in Brawl. So not really sure about this.

There was really no question about Pikmin Wii. My question is whether there will be a new Metroid Prime for Wii?

Olimar is awesome in brawl! Not as good as Bowser but still! I don't know what pikmin is about, but it looks mildly entertaining.

I hope this Pikmin's good, the last 2 were excellent. But I think a new Star Fox or new DK game would be more useful.

Yes, and here's why: Multiplayer in Pikmin 2 kept me and my friends up for hours on end, not to mention the challenging co-op missions. Nintendo will step it up to its even fuller potential on Wii, so now I'm officially pumped.

I've played the first pikmin (was pretty hard) so I'll be looking forward to this new game. Now all we need is a Luigi's mansion for Wii. By the way be Darius I can't see how well a character performs in brawl depicts whether his games are good or not, and like I've said everyone has their own opinions about SSBB characters so I don't think anyone's right when they say a character sucks.

Captain Olimar is an okay character in Brawl, he's like the ice climbers - you just have to learn to use 'em right. I never played Pikmin 2 because the first one made me break the C stick. But I'll play this one if I get the chance.

Oh my god I know half a dozen people who would jump all over Pikmin 3. Even now some of us play the melee mode of Pikmin 2.
