Just when you thought Tuesday was all over, there's actually another update on the official Super Smash Bros. Brawl page.

This time Sakurai tells us about Training Mode. In this mode you can hone your skills against bots and fiddle with various settings.

I don't get the soccer ball. Maybe it's a new item from NES soccer. Everyone knew training mode was going to be in brawl, there aren't any differences in this training mode from Melee.

I could care less about training mode but it's good for beginners. It's nice to see other outfits for Ike though, I like them. I'm already loving the new outfits for Mario and Fox.

Maybe the soccer ball is from Animal Crossing? I remember the random ball appearing from time to time, and the critters kicking it around when I pushed it to them.

The soccer ball is from the Animal Crossing on Gamecube. Once in a while you'd see a soccer ball you could just kick around or bring to other neighbors, and it takes up the same basic design and shading.
