Sonic from Master System hits VC

Sonic from Master System hits VC

Those expecting some Mega Man action on Virtual Console today may be sorely disappointed, it hasn't come (despite speculation saying it would). Instead we've got a strange choice, in Sonic from the Master System.

See you Friday for the Euro/Australia releases (where coincidentally, both Mega Man 1 and 2 are already available).

Isn't the Master System version horrible? I have it on Sonic Gems Collection and it sucks, but if you're a BIG Sonic fan go buy Gems Collection and a Gamecube controller. You can get Sonic CD and Sonic R plus a whole lots of other stuff, along with Sonic for master system.

I too have Sonic Gems, there are no Master System games whatsoever just Game Gear. Still Alex Kidd for Master System is the best.

Master Foot
Isn't the Master System Sonic the same as the Genesis Sonic? Why are they wasting space with this when they can release more worthwhile games. There were some sweet co-op games for the NES that they have yet to release but they waste time with this. Where are the gems!?

I don't think Pokemon Stadium would ever come out for Virtual Console. Think about it, that game was all about connecting it to your Game Boy. That reminds me, I want GB games on VC.
