Spyro and Crash are in the same boat. They need a really good game to inpire people like they did in the past. Sonic on the other hand is struggling to climb out of the hole sega has been digging for him lately. Hopefully Sonic Unleashed might just do it.

Although Sonic has crossed the line, it can cross back. As for Spyro it's almost at the point of no return. Crash has gotten to the point of no return and Bubsy is burning in hell.

I second exactly what Shadow said. I was right about to type something up when I saw that. Crash 1-3 were all good games. Spyro 1-3 were all good games. And then, well, I don't know what happened.

The Spyro boxart is definitely geared towards the US market. Spyro looks vicious and and menacing, like the Kirby's Air Ride box art. Those meerkats from Meerkat Manor really diversifying.

I think Spyro needs a new graphics engine, along with a new epic storyline! Along with TONS of advertising! Maybe High Voltage game studios could help with the next spyro game?

I used to play spyro and crash games a lot when I was a kid, but now I don't think I can remember the last time I played one. Hopefully this game will get the spyro series a little more attention. I might buy it if it gets a good review, if not I probably won't.

DKX900 is completely right. I still play the two VERY first Spyro and Crash games on the PS1 because both him and Crash have just gone downhill since then.

Spyro 2 was by far the best, I bought spyro 'enter the dragonfly' and was totally pissed off, I actually threw it out my window.
