Bumper item in SSBB

Bumper item in SSBB

A new item in Super Smash Bros Brawl revealed today. It's called the bumper and it was a part of the original SSB game on the N64, nine years ago.

Once set in place, the bumper acts like one of those bumper things in a pinball machine. Anyone who comes into contact with it will be sent flying.


It's bumpy time.


Just for a minute let's all do the bump.

I missed that thing, I loved throwing it at people with 200% or more damage. Oh and E3 is tonight and tomorrow. I hope there is going to be a new smash video.

Jeez louise! Why didn't they have that in Melee but have it in Brawl? Kind of unfair if you think about. But hey, nice choice for an offensive item.

I knew this item was going to be here. It was very missed in melee, so they would correct that putting it here. The problem now would be, Bumpers an Flippers all around a stage, that is going to be a little annoying. SWEET.

Holy cow! My prediction was right. When this game was announced I predicted that the bumper would return for some reason and it happened.

I didn't play the original SSB so when I first saw this item, I thought it was an item for sonic. Oh well.

I think this means the flipper from SSBM won't be in this game.

I'm glad this is in the game because unlike the flipper it won't disappear in the first 3 seconds someone throws it.
