Steering wheel accessory
Ubisoft have announced that a steering wheel attachment has been designed by Thrustmaster. It will ship with both GT Pro Series and Monster 4x4: World Circuit. The wheel device has a rectangular slot in the center where the wiimote fits.
The simple nature of the device means that it will be compatible with any driving game that uses the wiimote horizontally with tilts for steering, such as Excite Truck or Cars. Comically enough you could probably use it for the new Sonic game too! Check out a picture of the device below.

This looks great, although it would seem as though the wheel is just a prop, as all it really does is spin the controller in a "cooler" way.
Killer Ape
Wow that's really weird, but kind of cool.

Just like the zapper accessory, this will be cheaper than most peripherals and it might feel more natural spinning this rather than the wiimote.

This would be perfect for Sonic Wild Fire (not secret rings).
Killer Ape
This wouldn't be good for Sonic Wild Fire because it's not a racing game, even though you hold it like you're driving a car. Also Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam.
Hey
It might be EASIER to use the wheel for Sonic, because the demo looked a bit complicated. For example if you suddenly sneeze, CRAP! You fell off a cliff because you jerked the controller.

More accuracy, more realism, more fun! That's all I've got to say.

If it's used for racing games, it should work for Need for Speed Carbon I hope.
wii-mote dude
Two word for you all: excite truck.
Master Foot
Maybe it's just me but how exactly do you brake and accelerate if the buttons are not directly within reach
?
Bored
Hey Master Foot you most likely just pull back on the controller or maybe press the B and A buttons.
Scooby!_ Jew
I think I'll just stick with my God-given hands, thanks.
Master Foot
Interesting. I guess we will have to see how well this works. If the 1 and 2 buttons are used then what happens if you make a turn beyond 180 degrees? Hopefully it works well.
