Sakurai's been cranking out much better updates this week. Today we get a cool video about the Subspace Emissary that features in the Adventure Mode of Super Smash Bros Brawl. Although, we have seen a good portion of it already.
If the movie's to be believed, there won't be a dull moment.

Now I can see why they delayed the game.
A few things to note: 1) Bowser has the Trophipher (the blaster which Wario uses to turn Zelda/Peach into a Trophy) and blast (but missed) Fox and Diddy. 2) Ike is alone. 3) Yoshi is alone on a gold mine cart with the Mario M on it. 4) Yoshi and Link appear fighting Primids. 5) Meta Knight and Ice Climbers are the newest known duo (or should I say trio?). All in all, a very nice update and added footage.
Me and my friend will so use metaknight and the ice climbers.
Wow this video revealed a lot. First off Yoshi and Link are fighting together (AWESOME I was right) and so are the Ice Climbers and Meta Knight. Ike was fighting alone but probably teams up with someone later, oh and Bowser confronts Fox and Diddy. Awesome week of updates at last.
Amazing video, almost like a trailer of a movie except without a narrator. I thought they were only going to show things we saw in the e for all, but no what's with Bowser's new gun? Looks cool. I think Bowser is behind everything again, maybe even Meta-Knight. I don't think the ancient minister created itself. Well I guess it's someone.

Best update in a long time. Even though we didn't learn anything new from it really, I just thought it was really good.
Good update to end the week. A little disappointed that Snake or Sonic wasn't in here. I guess there waiting for us to play it for ourselves to answer those questions for ourselves. Still, great update.
This means you could play as anybody in the subspace army. Man it's been a long time since they updated information about the adventure mode.
Nothing really new, just a cool video. I don't like the sight of Bowser being a 'helper' of the evildoers instead of a leader (or captain, that would be cool).
This is what I expect from a game trailer: plenty of gameplay moments mixed with in-game movies.
Awesome video, awesome update. Also, it's safe to say Meta Knight is working for the good guys and Bowser and Wario are with the subspace army. On a similar note, the trophy making gun is hereby dubbed the trophiphier (good name Aeth!).

Would have been nice to have all completely new stuff but can't complain. One of the primids was carrying a beam sword which was interesting. Only characters not yet seen in Adventure mode are King Dedede, Snake and Pokemon Trainer.
If you pause at 30 seconds you can see Captain Falcon fighting the Primids.

I'm surprised Fox wasn't even MORE pissed at Rayquaza. Blowing up his damn Arwing. I'd have went into the water after him. Good video.
Meta knight isn't a bad guy, unless you're trying to tell me two innocent little Eskimos (ice climbers) are evil too.
I can't wait to see what happens to the one wario steals and who is going to be samus' partner. Also, is bowser going to be playable?
Thanks theykilledkenny, and good idea adding an extra "i", really brings the name "Trophiphier" into realization. Also I think that when the Subspace Army took the Halberd they might have ejected Meta Knight into an arctic place where he meets the Ice Climbers. I'm not too sure if any of the villains are playable in the Subspace Emissary, unless Wario and Bowser decides to betray the Subspace Army somewhere down the road.
Everyone is going to be playable, bad guy or not. I'm amazed everyone doesn't know that.

I'm really impressed on how Nintendo's mixing up these characters. I was afraid they would just have characters from the same games team up, glad I was wrong.
I think at some point one of the ice climbers should get kidnapped. That would make a hard boss fight for the one you play as.
For kenny- Fox's Arwing got blown up by meta knight's ship. You could see it in Kirby's and Peach's story.
Don't really get to pick your character during the game, you get to choose between two different characters, based on how far you are in the story.
Hey. I just learned that Pokemon Trainer is in there as well. Zero Suit Samus surprisingly teams with Pikachu. Also, Dedede is in there, too. I wonder if Capt. Olimar is in there as well.
Yoshi looks very well graphiced compared to what he looked like in melee.
I don't understand, is this a trailer for the game or is it going to be a movie?
