Mario Galaxy getting great reviews
Some sources have completed reviews for Super Mario Galaxy, and so far the scores are impressively high.
Famitsu, a gaming magazine in Japan awarded a score of 38/40. The panel of four reviewers complimented the game on its near perfect use of the Wiimote and pleasing balance in level design and difficulty.
The Official Nintendo Magazine gave Mario Galaxy 97%, touting its beautiful graphics compared to other Wii games around at the moment.

Why am I not surprised the OFFICIAL Nintendo Magazine gave it 97%. They probably would've given it 100% if they could, but they have to make themselves a little trustworthy.

Recoil, the official Nintendo magazine signed an agreement and said they would be 100% honest with every review they give. They gave mario party 8 about 62%.

@Recoil, Nintendo hires journalists. It's not their prerogative to rate these games. It's the journalist's prerogative to do so.

Yo dawg, even though that magazine is called the official Nintendo magazine, they have always been fair and unbiased with their reviews. I am quite sure, they won't be the only ones in the the industry to score SMG 97%- it will probably score even higher in a lot of unofficial magazines and web pages.

Just want to say to that Recoil guy that the official Nintendo magazine gave Super Paper Mario the lowest score I'd seen in any magazine, only awarding it 81%. So I guess there's no real foundation to your argument.

Super Mario Bros 3 is the best mario game ever. Famitsu gave mario sunshine 37/40 and that sucked so I hardly think them giving the latest mario a high score is big news.

Beat super mario 64? It will, but from Famitsu's score for SM64, 39/40, they gave galaxy less. Kill them! Nah, I don't think it's THAT bad, but still, I'm going to play Galaxy today.

I have played the game (I know it's not out yet, but I went to Gamestop and they let me play it). It is Awesome, the controls are great, the graphics are great, The motion sensors made it perfect.

We should wait until gamespot reviews it, that is some biased site. I bet they won't give it over 9, IF they do grade based on /10, I think they grade Wii games /8.5??
