Super Paper Mario in April

Super Paper Mario in April

Some new information suggests that Super Paper Mario is set to be released in April, not too far away! This new adventure is said to take Mario to an interdimensional town named "Flipside".

The Wiimote is used in a horizontal fashion to control Mario, who will have a butterfly as a sidekick. The game will feature both 2D and 3D antics. One to watch out for.

This was my favorite game when I was a kid. I can't wait until I get a Wii.

I didn't play the last one so I would have to look into this.

Wow, that sounds unique. Hope it's not too far away from "thousand-year door". I really liked that game.

I love paper mario. I used to play it all the time, sometimes stay-up to 2am playing it!

From what I've seen, it's a bit of a departure from thousand year door but still looks really good.

Paper Mario. I never was able to play one of these games. I wonder how you use the wiimote.

Super Paper Mario is actually quite different from the Paper Mario RPG's you're used to. This is going to be more along the lines of a platform/adventure game according to a press release. So if you're hoping that it's gonna be like Super Mario RPG: The Seven Star (snes), Paper Mario (n64), or Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door (gcn), or even the handheld Mario and Luigi: Super Star Saga (gba) or Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (ds), then you're in for a big let down.

Hold wiimote sideways, d pad for movement, 1 to jump, and 2 change 2d to 3d.

I WILL BUY THIS GAME! Seriously, look at those graphics. I wonder if this is all button-mashing though, or if you can attack and stuff by using the Wiimote like various weapons in battles. As you can see, I spend a lot of time playing Smooth Moves (you know - you use it as a sword, a Saute Pan and lots of other stuff I can't remember right now). I'd pay $100 right off the bat for this, but don't expect me to be bidding on eBay for it. I'll be a nice person and wait calmly for it. Starting three years from now.

Paper Mario graphics get better every time.
