Tatsunoko vs Capcom licensing woes

Seth Killian from Capcom has dealt a blow to anyone hoping to see Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes in the US or Europe.

"There's a lot of "dance with the lawyers" on that one. The rights holders for Tatsunoko in Japan are one company, but in North America it's 13 companies, some of which are very attentive, but some are not".

13, that's a lot of companies. Can they pull it off? Yes, no, maybe so.

With the help of PHOENIX WRIGHT THEY CAN! I just finished Ace Attorney and have ordered Justice for All. Let's hope Capcom can work their way around these many companies. How the heck is it that there are 13 separate ones in the US and only one in Japan anyways?

Actually some of the anime that have characters in TvC were never licensed in America, so it's a little easier. Some licenses are expired as well.

Tatsunoko Vs Capcom is now rumored to be coming to the US (in the newest issue of NP). Let's hope the rumor's true. If it is it will prove if you wait around complaining about Japan only games and compliment the Phoenix Wright series good things happen.
