THQ profits through the roof

Publishers THQ have had a record breaking year, taking in over a $1 billion. This is 27% higher than the last fiscal year, so things are on the up.

Unfortunately, so far most of THQ's Wii releases have been aimed at kids. They currently have a further 11 Wii titles in development and are "particularly excited" about the system's future. Amen.

I have imprinted in my memory that THQ is the worst video game developer in existence. Back in the snes days every single game they published sucked and had to be avoided. To be honest I have no idea if they are better now days or not. I just avoid them out of habit.
