Thrustmaster wireless Classic Controller

Accessory makers Thrustmaster have revealed a new wireless Classic Controller for use with Wii. It's completely wireless, not requiring the Wiimote to be connected up. Named the T-Wireless NW, it's said to retail for $19.99.

I like the cut of its jib. If it's comfortable to play with they might be onto a winner. Think of all the palm sweat that will collect in those ridges. Fragrant!

I'm with ikasu - if it rumbles I'll buy it, if not don't know if I will seeing as how you can play pretty much every VC game with the wavebird, or the Wii mote.

Mm. Not quite in the Wii style? Lose the blue rubber.

Way cool! Even if it doesn't rumble it's still good. Did the classic controller by Nintendo have rumble? I didn't get one.

I liked when there was only 1st party controllers. Pretty soon there will be Wiimotes by Madcatz that won't aim right.

That looks retarded. I hope they don't make a wireless Nunchuk, because they'll somehow make it look horrible too.

Looks pretty cool, but the joysticks still look too close together.

Perfect, and at retail too.

This will make virtual consoling so much easier.

Yes, but we need a wireless nunchuck! I hate almost choking on the cord.

I could care less about the rumble (sometimes). MY only question is: how does it feel in my hands? The shape reminds me of the original Xbox controller, and the overall design looks a bit like the Battarang Sony tried to pass off as the PS3 controller. And what about the company name? Thrustmaster? Sounds like something I'd buy at a kinky store in lower Manhattan.

"Classic"? Wow, that's lame.

Why get the other when you could get this. I have a feeling Nintendo will have some problems selling their classic controller. I mean wireless and made for the hand. I actually have a controller like this for the GC and sweat never collects in the ridges.

Cool, It has a turbo button! I don't really like the look of the controller itself, though.

Could be pretty tight, I do kind of miss those joystick shooter games, the Wii FPS games arent as good as I expected.

My question is why does it have all the buttons like TURBO or SLOW? Why, those buttons SUCK.

The normal classic controller can rumble?

droop4 said:

I'd say yes, as it is basically a cube controller.

Yes it does, for gamecube and Wii games like ssbb.

Does the classic controller rumble? No. I think because all the virtual console games don't have rumble support this won't. But because it can be used for smash bros brawl you never know, maybe.

If you want it to rumble you'd have to change the batteries so damn much. Probably just sounds like mote.

WiiNinja said:

Wow. All I can say for now is that it looks great. I'll have to try it out.

It shouldn't have rumble. The games don't support rumble except a few n64 games. You probably are going to be playing games that don't support rumble anyway so don't worry about it.
