Tony Hawk's Proving Ground on Wii
The next game in the famed Tony Hawk series has been announced. It's called Tony Hawk's Proving Ground and is heading to Wii as well as the DS.
Proving Ground aims to give the most immersing skating experience yet, including more customization options than ever seen before. You develop your character's appearance, story and skating style based on choices you make as the game progresses
Along the way your character will skate on the proving grounds of places like Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC. Also featured is a video editor, allowing you to make your own skate videos. The game is set for a Fall release.

Yes! A fully-fledged Hawk game. Not a lame spinoff. Downhill Jam really wasn't what anyone was looking for. Hopefully the developers put a little time into the Wii build to make it compelling. Simply porting a game onto Wii doesn't work so well as we have seen. Developers really need to take the time to figure out what works best.

Sounds interesting. I haven't played a good Tony Hawk game since Underground 1, and before that it was THPS:2. Let's hope this game brings back the series in a positive fashion.

Here's hoping that this game has wi-fi. If it does then this will be one of the best games for Wii when it comes out. If it doesn't, then it's just another tony hawk game with pretty graphics.

I am a skater in real life and have collected every last skater game, and tony hawk's proving ground looks sweet! But I wonder how it will compete with skate? Oh well Nintendo is miles better than ps3 and xbox 360 put together, YES (wonder what the controls may be like?).

This game is too confusing and a little hard. Right now I am stuck on this kickflip over a gap at the beginning of the game and I land it every time but it never counts it. Someone help me out here, it's so stupid.

I'm stuck on the same thing as sam456. Very frustrating. I do a perfect kickflip every time but for some reason it doesn't count it.
