Trackmania on Wii

Trackmania on Wii

A video interview at the IDEF event in France has confirmed that a Trackmania game will be hitting the Wii. The interview was conducted in French but Gamekep offered a brief summary of what it mentioned:

  • Online play.
  • Up to 4 player split-screen.
  • All the environments from the PC version except "Bay".
  • All the control schemes from Mario Kart Wii supported except the GameCube Controller.
  • Daytime and nighttime races.
  • Level editor.
  • Levels can be shared online.

Word is that the game will be released early in 2010.

Oooh! I wanted to try the DS version, but I heard it sucked. Maybe they'd improved on this one. It sure looks like it already. A "buy" on my list.

I am so freaking getting this game when it comes out. I swear that if they prolong the release like Nadeo did with TrackMania 2 (it comes out in 2011 now, arggg) I will flip. I love Trackmania!
