Don't expect Wii Fit to pull any punches, according to NoA's President Reggie Fils-Aime the game will tell you straight out if you're a lardo.

"We had to make a hard call, but we went with the standard definitions associated with BMI. We felt, candidly, that to move off of those standard definitions would have been false. It wouldn't have been right in terms of what we're trying to do with the consumer".

Reggie admits his own BMI is borderline obese and that he appreciates all too well peoples' sensitivities. He firmly believes regular usage of Wii Fit will help people who are in the same boat.

I don't think people are going to sue. It's just going to do what bmi charts tell you. The categories doctors use. But I think that's going to make it more successful if it's straight and to the point and not beating around the bush. "uhhh, I think you might be a little heavy".
