Wii Fit on sale in Japan
Wii Fit officially went on sale yesterday morning in Japan. Lengthy queues were formed at stores selling the game, as seen below at the Yodobashi Kichijoji around 9:30am.
Smile, you're famous.
What strikes me is that none of these people look particularly overweight. The fit get fitter, the fat get fatter. Such is life's cruel cycle.

Well staying fit isn't just about losing weight, it's about being healthy and giving you muscles the strength and relaxation it needs to become stronger. Besides "fat" people aren't really "fat", it's just how their body formed.

Great to see it's a success, and we all know that Wii fit and Wii itself will be top of the charts. But to see this vs Mario Galaxy's failure in Japan is just so sad. Galaxy is a masterpiece and a top 5 game of all time. What's wrong with you Japanese gamers?

Mario Galaxy flopped in Japan? WTH? First they shoved Sonic, but since he's an American character I wasn't all that surprised. But they are now shoving away a Nintendo Character that is very popular over there? Geez, Japan really is crazy.

Aeth you're right, sometimes it's genetics but some of the time it's not. Charlie I have seen a video of china and the families that are rich always had fat children. I have only a few fat kids in my school, maybe I'm just lucky.

Well, it's not that fit people get fitter and fat people get fatter, it's just natural selection; only the fittest survive. Fat people have just given up, they know they're screwed.

There aren't a lot of fat Japanese people, Butters, and there aren't a lot of sumo wrestlers, and not all of the sumo wrestlers are Japanese. More fat people should get this game.
