Wii hitting China late 2008
Reports indicate that the Wii console will be arriving in China for retail during late 2008. Nintendo are likely holding off until then due to the intense demand in existing regions.
The pricing will be similar to other countries, and games specifically targeted at the Chinese market will be made.
Until then, there's always the Vii!

According to Wikipedia, the Vii is nothing more thea, as Nintendoof put it, a Wii impersonator. However it does not contain a disc drive and has the games already in it, meaning there is a limited amount of games such as: Tennis, Fishing, Bowling, Golf, Table Tennis, Darts, Cooking, Dancing, Baseball, Cards and other simple games. You can't add any more other than those I mentioned.

Vii is a total rip off of Wii, it's games are cheap 8-bit games which suck. The vii sucks.

The Vii is a disgrace to Nintendo even though it is not made by them. If a real Wii comes the Chinese might mistake it for a crappy ass Vii! (excuse the language but this ticked me off).
