Wii sold out in Europe

Nintendo have confirmed that the Wii has sold out in Europe. 325,00 consoles were bought within the first 2 days of the launch.

As to be expected, Zelda TP has been hugely popular with 74% of console buyers picking it up. Another strong success is Wii Play with its bundled wiimote.

Wii is now the fastest selling console ever across Europe, and not just the UK. Big N are promising to do everything possible to ensure a steady supply of Wiis is shipped to Europe throughout the holidays.

Worldwide Wii sales figures are expected to be around the 2 Million mark at the moment.
