Firmware update is for WiiWare

No doubt you woke up this morning to a flashing Wii. I think there's a cream for that.

Nintendo has served up a minor firmware update. It's all about preparing the Wii Shop Channel for the WiiWare download service which launches in May.

If you're worried about your Freeloader becoming broken, reports say this update doesn't affect it at all. At ease.

I couldn't get to sleep last night because of that throbbing Wii light, but I was too tired to start it all up. In addition, I hope this is the only update we will need before downloading wiiwares.
