Today's update on Sakurai's official SSSB website shows off Yoshi's Island as a playable stage in-game.

We have seen his music, his own stage but no appearance of the amiable dinosaur himself. I wondered if it will be an EVENT when he finally appears, say maybe having the ability of Mario riding on Yoshi.

This is awesome! The mix of the 2-Dish level with the high detailed characters. I can't wait to try it out in the real game.

Dude, that'd be incredibly awesome if they adjusted the characters' graphics style to match that of the stages. It'd feel kind of like you're playing in that game every time you play on the stage. Of course, some people may not like that, so it would then be optional. *sigh* If only.
