Internets at the ready
Assassin's Creed III is set to release alongside the Wii U console next month on the 18th. A game of such a high budget and scope lends itself to downloadable content, and it's already known there will be an episodic DLC called The Tyranny of King Washington - a single player campaign that comes in three parts. There will also be extra maps and characters to get for multiplayer action.
The first Wii wasn't known for being online-friendly when it came to these things, but Nintendo is taking positive steps in the right direction. Publishers Ubisoft have confirmed that all of the AC3 DLC will be available on Wii U. As for the 'Season Pass' which 360/PS3 owners can choose, details on that one are still unknown.
