Monolith Soft have let slip the first screenshot for their upcoming Wii game Disaster: Day of Crisis.

Disaster: Day of Crisis screenshot.
Yep that's it, in all its orange glory. You'll be glad of that arrow, it's easy to get lost on those narrow bridges. DDoC will be released later this year. Want some old footage?
That'll do pig.

Why is it that in games with fire dungeons or lava pits, the character wears no protective clothing? Last time I checked, lava is, uhh hot.

That looked absolutely amazing. I am speechless. Wow. This goes right behind ssbb and battalion wars 2.

That's really good graphics, this game looks brilliant. Don't know why some people complain about the wii's graphics, they're great.

I agree with The Console Kid. The Wii's graphics ain't bad at all. There's no need to complain, really. I mean, it's only been out for four months. That picture just shows off the tip of its capabilities.

I've been anticipating this game for months. Now that I've seen that screenshot and a few key elements I missed in the trailer, this is definitely a must-buy game for me. They need to make sure this game lasts a long time. I've already almost beat 4 Wii games and I haven't even had the console for a month. Usually I'd just now be beating my first or second game.

I hope you get complete control of your character. Because that arrow looks like "OH! Flick the wiimote here to make your character walk there!". I want control from the nunchuck fool!

"You'll be glad of that arrow, it's easy to get lost on those narrow bridges". You win February's humor award. Anyway, the screenshot doesn't look particularly good, eh? Kinda last gen. Heck! I'd even expect BETTER from the Gamecube.

Ooh, graphics; I like. I went to Nintendo world, and there was this kid playing LoZ:TP with some AV cables and the graphics looked like 360 or PS3 graphics.

The screenshots for video games can be quite deceptive. I remember people looking at pictures on websites and magazines and talking about how awful the Wii's graphics were. I went on the Wii Move You tour last year and looking at the graphics of Twilight Princess on that screen totally blew me away. Lesson: Never judge by just screenshots alone! Like I said before, "That picture just shows off the tip of its capabilities".
Gonzo said:
Does anyone notice that screenshot looks like Goron Mines is LoZ:TP?

OMG it does, LoL Gonzo.

I hope this game is about global warming. It's about time we gamers embrace this problem.
