I think you have to run away from natural disasters and shoot them or something weird like that. Any of you know what games Monolith Soft did? I might know what to expect if I know what games they did.

It's about disasters obviously, but as these are going on a terrorist group steals a nuclear weapon and you have to get it back. Typical american story lol no offence.

Although my sympathies lie with the victims of the "Katrina story", there are many other national disasters going on around the world and I doubt that this game would be more based on the actual USA events than any other countries. (hate to say it and I don't want to start any arguments - not everything is about USA).

You can't shoot natural disasters, they are things to do with water and that and earthquakes and cyclones and rapid climate changes. Like the movie The Day After Tommorow, anyone seen that?

I think you will have to maybe shoot anonymous henchmen? Ever think of that? And in long free spaces, disasters might strike, forcing you to find shelter.

I think this would be a good game despite the lack of info. Just imagine what you could do with the wii remote (besides shoot stuff). It's second on my "to get" list next to Red Steel.

Day After Tomorrow, good movie. That is the first thing that struck to mind when I saw this preview. I'm thinking it's just going to be a natural diaster survival with some shooting, like you have to help people, go through obstacles, board up windows and whatnot as quickly as possible after finding the supplies. Stuff like that, I don't know, hopefully it's a whole new game.

This game definitely sounds cool. Just wish there was more to know about. And going on what Hey said, maybe you will have to shoot debris comin at you or something? Obviously not a hurricane. No matter how cool that would be.

I've seen the trailer for this game (the link that I saw it from no longer exists) and the graphics are just mind-blowing (especially for a system that doesn't use HD technology). The gameplay seemed to look just as good. Why can't the Wii be released already?!

I heard this game is awesome. It's about some guy named Ray and he has to save the world from people who got their hands on a weapon. If only they had some good pictures and videos of the game I could decide if I want it or not. I agree with "m!" it reminds me of the Day After Tomorrow. That was a good movie in my book and if Disaster: Day of Crisis is anything like it I should like it as much as I liked the movie. Makes you wonder if they got the idea for this game from The Day After Tomorrow.

It looks like Disaster will be in stores by the end of this month. Metacritic is currently awaiting 4 reviews and has the release date set for March 30, 2007.

The storyline is this dude works for the FBI or something and these natural disasters are going off. So while everyone is distracted by volcanoes, monster waves and stuff like that, the FBI and Ray hunt this team of terrorists down. That's the storyline. Almost 100% positive.
