New costumes opening doors to lots of possibilities
Series creator Masahiro Sakurai has been showing off screen shots of the upcoming Super Smash bros title for the Wii U and 3DS for a while but as of late, we've been seeing some of the other characters alternate costumes, some of which might pave a way to moving past the alternate color schemes we've grown used to.
Newcomer, Little Mac, (picture above) is shown in his default costume as well as a pink jump suit. There was even an image of Link in a tunic inspired by Skyward Sword and we've already seen the different gender and outfit costumes for the villager from Animal Crossing New Leaf.
Keep an eye out as we watch more teasers for Super Smash Bros 4 and let's hope the variations in costumes is a trend for all the characters. The game will be released for the 3DS on October 3rd and this Holiday season for the Wii U.
