EA running with MySims

Selling over 3 million units, MySims has been a relative success for publishers EA. Now they've gone and announced a further two games in the franchise.

Details are scant at the moment, but the first one titled MySims Kingdom will be out towards the end of this year. MySims Party is scheduled for early 2009.

In addition to this, we get our first look at the NERF blaster accessory for NERF N-Strike, which was announced yesterday.

If 3M people bought the game, then there must be something to it. EA has struck gold with this one. MySims Madden would be the ultimate game. ULTIMATE.

Yuck, more crap. Now a remake of Zoo Tycoon would be a helpful game for this market of casual people.

Well in terms of art direction and future possibilities it's clearly the best sims ever, it's so much better to look at than those clunky realistic but weird soulless looking people in pc sims. The Wiimote is perfect for this. It needs online and mini-mmo type online play and a graphics push and it will rock.
