Telltale, the developers of Sam & Max have announced a new project that's coming to WiiWare. It's called Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. That's one snappy title.
It's an adventure game featuring characters from the Internet phenomenon Homestar Runner, created by brothers Mike and Matt Chapman. The main character being Strong Bad (pictured left). CEO of Telltale, Dan Connors spoke:
"Homestarrunner.com is one of the biggest success stories in online entertainment. The Chapmans have been treating the Internet to episodic content for years. We're thrilled to have teamed up with them to take episodic gaming to the next level via Nintendo's innovative WiiWare delivery system".
In terms of gameplay, you can expect puzzles, items, character interaction, general pointing and clicking with comedy thrown in. The plan is to release five of these episodes, one per month. If, like me, you haven't heard of Homestar Runner before, here's a clip of Strong Bad in action.

Is this the first platform Homestarrunner game ever? This is now officially at the top of my list. I wonder if this has anything to do with the Wii safety video that came out a while ago. Go to google and search 3uSyK2RdlUY (I couldn't put the full url).

YES. Oh man, I'm buying this as soon as it goes on sale (fingers crossed for an appearance by senor cardgage, or maybe a trogdor/limozeen rock out minigame).
