Contrary to previous news, it turns out that the new microphone system Wii Speak will be bundled in with Animal Crossing: City Folk.
This was revealed during a GameStop managerial conference. In North America the bundle will cost $69.99, but Wii Speak will also be available to buy separately since other games are likely to support it too.

Yay! I'll be a little richer this Fall.

They should use the Wii speak to make a pokemon game where you can shout a command into the Wii speak and you can tell it to dodge, jump, spin, and use strategy in your moves just like in the tv show.

What I'm hoping is that brawl also supports the system somehow.

The Wii Speak is all about community but I still hope that they release headsets. I'm sure that it would be easy do design a minigame compilations centered around shouting at the WiiSpeak, waggling the wiimote, and jumping on the WiiFit board.

This better have a headset too, I don't want background noise. Plus I don't want people screaming into the speaker and waking up my whole house.

I hope they do all the things that the DS didn't do with the mic.
insultman911 said:
Yeah headsets would be cool.

Anyone hear about The Conduit? It's the other game compatible with Wii Speak. Think "metroid prime", but without the cool suit AND multiplayer.
