Do you think this battle might have been scripted? I mean Mario got 1st place, Zelda and Samus got 2nd, and Sonic got last? Anyway the battles looks smooth though they didn't go out of region. Let's see how a battle between the Nintendo HQ in Japan and the Nintendo HQ in the United States. Let's see how fast that battle will go because once both Japan and the United States have this game those half-around-the-world battles will occur and it'll be nice to see how fast that is. Unless they are planning just to make the Wi-Fi battles regional.

This game looks to be turning out as exactly what I expected it to be: All the great things in melee, just with loads of new stuff and additional tweaks to things that weren't so good. This update was particularly significant because it's the first full match officially released. Thanks Sakurai.

Not too bad, I didn't catch any lag so that's a good sign. I don't know exactly how far the two are apart.

Mario is like un-"dieable". Like he falls off the edge and sometimes it seems impossible for him to come back but he does.

There is a different trailer on the Japanese site of them battling on the Delfino Plaza Stage with Mario, Kirby, Ike and Snake. Kirby, my favorite character, won by doing his Final Smash (you should see it, it's funny!). Anyway it was still only regional and would have preferred to see a match between the US and Japan headquarters.

Dark Star, the cities are about the same distance as Los Angeles and San Fransico are in California. This translates to about 400 miles.
