Ooh! I forgot to mention the new super moves. Pretty much, there'll be a super rare item in the shape of the SSB emblem and whichever character gets it uses his or her super moves. So far, Nintendo has shown the super moves of Mario, Link and Kirby. Mario's is a giant Kamehameha-like fireball, Link runs up to one enemy and slashes them an incredible number of times. As for Kirby, he turns into Cook Kirby and well, I bet you can guess what goes in his pot.

Alright before I start, Hyrule lord you're dumb on the Cloud thing, the reason they're not asking americans is they want semi-nintendo characters, not completely off. Now Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles would be nice characters (the clavats) Locke or Terra from Final Fantasy III. Any Skies of Arcadia, maybe an RE person (Leon or Claire), characters from Golden Sun. Oh and don't forget Baten Kaitos, Zero or Mega-man from Megaman, Dragon Warriors charcaters, Phantasy Star characters, Paper Mario, Tales of Symphonia. Those are some of my wanted/plausible SSBB characters.

For one I'll talk about whatever the hell I want regardless of whether you want to hear it or not capiesh. Now I would definitely like to see sonic in there. There's a good chance but I'm not getting my hopes up. For items capsules could drop and you could get rings, invincibility or the running shoes. And as a super move he could turn into super sonic. If tails is in there (which I doubt) he could fly on his plane and shoot people. But being realistic if they put sonic in there then it's probably just gonna be Sonic, Tails would be pushing it. You can forget Knuckles and everyone else. If you have a nasty comment keep it to yourself, it doesn't serve to change anything just pisses me off.

(Finally, after hearing about how great Sonic would be in SSBB, SCTH finally snaps). The only dang reason why people want Sonic in this game is because of that stupid April Fools joke! If that magazine never made that "Sonic in Smash Bros.' rumor, I bet he wouldn't be in SSBB. Why? Because Sonic is a crappy fighting game character. I mean come on! The only Nintendo systems to feature Metal Gear games were the NES (Metal gear 1 & 2), Game Boy Color (Metal Gear Solid), and the Gamecube (Metal Gear Solid: the Twin Snakes). And it is NOT possible for Sony to own the rights to Metal Gear, otherwise there would never be a Metal Gear for the Xbox, yet there is a Metal Gear Xbox title. In the past, Super Smash Bros featured only characters from Nintendo published titles, yet a character from a third-party developer and publisher will be playable in this game. This is why people are more hopeful than ever to have a third-party developer's characters in the game, like Sega's Sonic and Capcom's Megaman. But I also have my doubts, Metal Gear Solid, The Twin Snakes was a remake of the original and was remade with the help of Silicon Knights (the company that made Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem) and was also aided in development by Shigeru Miyamoto (the genius who created Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Star Fox, and Pikmin). So it is very possible that it will only feature characters from games originally released for Nintendo video game systems. And just because you see at the beginning of every game "licensed by Nintendo" it only means Nintendo has given the publisher permission to release the game on their system. The same goes with Sony and Microsoft. Now that I've set everyone's minds straight, go do some actual research while I take a nap.

Banjo and Kazooie can not appear because they are owned by rare. Microsoft owns rare. Keep only first party characters for smash. They should have custom character download mode, then Mega Man, Banjo, Sonic, Splinter Cell and co could be in game through their publishers uploading their characters.

Come on SEGA! We want SONIC! I've got ideas for his moves already: Jump: X BUTTON (He jumps). Double Jump: 2X X BUTTON (He flips into a ball}. RETURN JUMP: UP+B BUTTONS(Flips with blue aura and can hurt people like samus can). He will obviously be the fastest runner. Ring Throw: Press B and he throws a ring. Sonic Spin:DOWN+B BUTTONS (Will roll around like Yoshi's Egg Roll). Sonic strike: B+LEFT/RIGHT (Must charge and then ram an opponent). Punch Punch Kick: Press A three times. Scissor Kick: UP+A BUTTONS (Flips backwards while kicking his legs). Spin Kick: A+LEFT/RIGHT (Quickly spins around to kick an opponent) Can Charge. Sonic Blast: A+DOWN (Crosses his arms over his face then smacks the crap out of enemies near him sending them skyward). A+LEFT/RIGHT: Rocket kick (Shadow whops someone with a fiery kick). A+UP: Rocket Blast (Shadow slams his foe with an explosive kick). A+DOWN: Bazooka (Shadow blasts people with rockets but drops his item that he's holding - It's from shadow the game). B: Ring toss (Like Sonic, except throws 3 rings but doesn't make foe flinch). B+LEFT/RIGHT: Shadow Ball (Shadow rolls around like Sonic except with fire around him). B+UP: Chaos Control (Shadow will turn blue and zoom back as a return move but doesn't hurt people). B+DOWN: Chaos Blast (Charge for three secs and whamo! All enemies around him are toast!). X: Jump (Shadow does a standard leg jump and he can wall jump). Tap X twice for double jump. He will flip twice quickly. X+A: Chaos Kick (Shadow kicks down hard to slam the crap out of an opponent). X+B: Chaos spear (Shadow fires 3 blue glowing spears at an enemy).

And there could be that acid below the stage (if I remember correctly) like in Samus's stage but it wouldn't move. It would just hurt you when you fall off.

I hope that all the characters from SSBM are in SSBB because if they weren't then that would suck. Also SSB on N64 had 8 characters and 4 secret characters for a total of 12. In SSBM there are more than twice that. So I'm guessing there will be a lot of new characters. Wii is the best next-generation system without a doubt! I just found out characters who are definitely gonna be in this game: Sonic because Sega and Nintendo are good friends now, PacMan from Namco, Bomber Man, Megaman from Capcom and Prince of Persia from PS2! It's all true, go to Google and then images, type in super smash bros brawl characters. It pops up with Sonic, Pacman and Bomberman. Click on Sonic or Pacman, Bomberman goes somewhere else.

It's gonna be sweet. Too bad they won't be using the WII-MOTE. But oh well. Sonic will probably be in this game, that would satisfy a large audience. It's good to hear they are going 3rd party, but bad also. It is becoming less of Super Smash Bros and more of an Ultimate Videogame Fun Death Match game. But it will be awesome, no doubt. I watched this film that I think is the starting movie of SSBB and it shows Mario, Link, Pikachu and Kirby at the start. They sort of power up and their graphics become way better, except for Kirby, he gets a little pissed. Then it shows em fighting on the Meta-Knight stage and then the ship opens and Meta-Knight is on top. Then he fights with em and Pit shoots an angel arrow from the sky, Meta knight blocks it with his cape, they fight then Samus shoots this big blast and the force of it breaks her suit, she fights. Then Wario comes on his motorbike and farts in everyones face with his Wario Waft. Then Snake is talking to his commander and he tells him that he's invited to SSBB. He already happens to be there hiding under a box, then he jumps out in front of Mario and Link and says "It's showtime".

Honestly, I hope to GOD this game is gonna be so much better than the last Super Smash Bros game. I'm sorry, but the last game was a HUGE disappointment for me. I'm sorry and forgive me if I sound too picky and what say you, but in my personal opinion, I want to see a cutscene when someone is doing a huge attack. Like, the new item that everyone does their greatest attack, I think there should be a huge graphical cutscene to where they are preparing the attack and they actually shoot it. Then it gets back to regular gameplay, kind of like Mario Tennis to where you would see a short cutscene on character attacks and stuff, THAT IS WHAT I WANT! I was expecting big graphical advances in Super Smash Brother Melee, unfortunately I see the same type of format used in the N64 version. Don't get me wrong, the backgrounds were good and so was everything else. I just think, especially with Wii, they better show at least games using Wii's highest potential. If not this game, then at least do it on Twilight Princess, that's all I'm saying. Plus, I think that one unlockable character has to be a Mario related character.

Also, recently Sakurai (the developer) said on a radio talk show that ice climbers, game and watch, and young link would be taken out. But in their places will be Ridley from metroid, Bowser Jr. and Wind Waker Link. Also he said there will be 2-3 more third party characters aside from Snake and he wants to include 30-40 characters. Finally, he said he will incorporate a more robust single player mode. This game is gonna be amazing!

I doubt there will be a lot of 3rd party characters like Sonic etc. I'd like to see Boo though and I'm not sure we need any more FE characters than Marth and Roy, though I'd like em. Pit will own. Some of these characters will probably be less known characters from really old games (example: Pit, Ice Climbers, Mr Game and Watch). We might even see characters like Toad and Daisy. I'm hoping for but not expecting Banjo-Kazooie, two of my favorite characters from the N64.

I know some of those characters rocked like Roy, Marth, Ganondorf, Young Link (only because Up+B move kept the enemies inside the strike and then let them out in a final blow), Mewtwo. I also heard that if you get 20 kills on cruel melee in the multi man melee thing when you have every character (including unlockable), you get to fight Sonic and Tails from sega at the same time, and if you win the battle Sonic and Tails fill up the corners on the bottom row. If anyone happens to do that or if you've already done it please tell me if it's real or not.

Hey I agree with TehB0n5lyK1n9 about Deoxys. But maybe not Charizard. I doubt Pokemon that come out of a Pokeball as an item, will become playable. Deoxys would be mad. And if Megaman is in this, I'm hoping for ElecMan. Not the midget one from Megaman Powered up the game, but the cartoon series where he has those cool lightning rods on his back and all that.

I really hope there are no more Pokemon. I don't even like 5. Mewtwo was alright, but Pichu and Jigglypuff are useless. At least in the first game Jigglypuff's lullaby did something, but it's useless in melee. I do like its rollout attack though. I am so glad there are no clones, but I disagree with baker lagate. Ice climbers sucked, and Dr. Mario wasn't great (Luigi is close enough to Mario). I don't mind the new characters except Snake. He's cool, but he doesn't really fit in. What's he going to do, snap Mario's neck and put Link in the sleeper hold? But I guess the more characters the better, especially for internet battles.

Now here's a fact: On a Japanese blog apparently run by a programmer for Super Smash Bros Brawl, they've released two new secrets about Super Smash Bros Brawl. One of the secrets are that each level will feature destructible terrain that will burn, blow up or even crumble away. The second secret is that characters will be customizable. Each character will have an array of new moves which you can assign and adjust including speed and power statistics, and even the ability to customise costumes. It is still unknown as to whether or not this will be included for online play, but it would be an awesome feature if it is.

Here's my thought. Since Metal Gear got its start from the NES, he got the nod to be in the game. That means that other now non-Nintendo characters that got their start from a Nintendo console could also make appearances. As much as I'd love to see Sonic and company in the game, I don't think it'll happen. Here's hoping they prove me wrong.

Ok, why is everyone so pissed off about the Sonic thing? I'm not on his side but still there's no point in arguing. If Nintendo puts Sonic in then what are you gonna do? We just gotta wait and see. And the make your own character thing would have major flaws. First off, the original concept of super smash bros was to fight with characters that everyone loved, both a button mash and not at the same time. Doing that would be a rip of Soul Caliber and would hurt the game I think.

I think Knukles should be in smash bros as well as Sonic. Even though he's not as popular as Tails he would actually have some moves, like for instance his B attack would be a charge up punch like Donkey Kong's. His B^ would be a jump punch similar to the Mario brothers. His B down would be a drill drive like Yoshi and Bowser's and his B sideways would be a short charge up attack for his gliding, kinda like Pikachu or Luigi's skull bash. But unlike those guys he would stay in the air longer and be able to climb up walls for a short time.

I'm back with a moveset for Bowser jr. His B would be a regular paint throw attack. His B^ would be that same B^ Bowser has. His B sideways would make him able to summon up those sludge things in Super Mario Sunshine and throw them. B down and he would be able to use his paint brush to turn into Shadow Mario. I'm not yet sure what his moveset would be, but I know he would be able to wall kick.

What they need for this game is Mario with Fludd (Super Mario Sunshine) and Paper Mario. They can also go with some DK characters such as Diddy or Dixie or even King K. Rool. He could have an attack where he throws his crown like in DK Country for SNES. They could also put some Kirby characters like King Dedede. Think about old Nintendo game characters, that's where the SSBB characters are coming from.

I just want to clear something up with people who keep saying they want to see Sonic, Knuckles and others. They're only going to add 1-2 more 3rd party characters in and they have to be on a Nintendo system before. I highly doubt they will put two Sonic characters in there and waste both 3rd party slots, if they're going to add any Sonic characters it's just going to be Sonic. He's the original, not Tails or Knuckles, not anybody else from the Sonic series. They're most likely going to put Sonic ok, so stop saying stuff about it. Okay, absolutely every character from SSBM should remain in Brawl for one simple reason. If they remove them, it will make the people who played that character angry, and instead of removing characters with the same moves just give them different fighting moves. Sonic is a very likely character because of all the rumours and such. That said that he wasn't in SSBM. So it would be much appreciated by many if he was included. Additionally, I believe that Dark Samus, Toad, Waluigi, Diddy Kong, Samari Goroh (or any other F-zero characters), some of the other hunters from Metroid Prime Hunters, the different Links from Majora's Mask and possibly the Prince of Persia for third party characters.

Why would they put Master Chief in Smash Brawl? The guy is from xbox which is the worst console in my opinion because there is not a lot of anime like games. The guys from FF7 and further can't be in Smash because those characters are for Ps2. So Square Enix characters could be the guys from Kingdom Hearts (chains of memory) and the old Final Fantasy on SNES or Crystal Chronicles (NGC). I'd hate to ruin the party with pokemon things but Fishmon I think mewtwo and mew would be rivals and all but mewtwo's strength is nothing compared to mew's. It may have seemed that they were equal in the movie but in the games they don't match completely, mew snaps mewtwo heaps because mew can learn every single pokemon move there is and why? Because mew was the very first pokemon Nintendo made but they thought it would be stupid to make him a starter so they made him the most powerful. And yes I agree with you about mew and mewtwo but I think mew and celebi would be more the rivals because they can both learn every single move and you can't catch them. You would have to get them scanned into your game which is impossible now and or get them traded to your game from somebody who did get them scanned into theirs. But yea I totally agree with the rival battle idea. If Nintendo does bring in more than 1-2 3rd party members excluding snake of course, I wish to see as a rival battle Sshadow vs Sonic. I hope you sonic fans out there agree, but I'd rather see tails than knuckles to tell the truth. I wouldn't doubt 1 or 2 Ubisoft characters showing up, such as Rayman because Ubisoft has shown strong third-party support for the Wii games-wise. And Nintendo is having gamers vote for which third-party character should be in SSBB. Some popular characters in demand are Sonic, Megaman, Cloud and Sephiroth. Although they are not Nintendo names, I hope Nintendo could manage to get one of them onto SSBB.

Thanks Ja-Mez, I meant Knuckles would be an arena monster just like Birdo was in Melee. Birdo hurts you with her eggs so she does attack you, and Marth Vader that is hilarious. KanoMax they aren't going to put any regular pokemon in, they have to be very famous or legendary. My bet would be Deoxys or the new guy from the new pokemon game Lucario, he looks like he has a lot more potential than Deoxys but if they put either in I'll be happy.

That's an OK idea KanoMax except Sandslash is from Red and Blue. If there are any more Pokemon (which I highly beleive) they should be from Sapphire and Ruby. But I love the Scizor idea. Grovyle's ok but usually they either have the full evolution or the first. Pikachu is middle because when SSB came out, Pichu didnt exist. Neither did Igglybuff for Jigglypuff but still. And maybe in Brawl, Mew could actually do something and maybe be extra rare and blast away opponents? And if they have another classical stage from N64, they should have the old Hyrule temple. I love the music to it. Oh and if Sonic's in it, Green Forest from Sonic adventure 2 Battle would be the greatest! I love that music the most. Or maybe even White Jungle! Or Ice Cap zone or Green hill zone, or the death egg, or flying battery zone, or sky sanctuary, or chemical plant zone, or launchpad zone or even lava reef zone.

To Someone cooler than you. Recently Miyamoto has said in a press conference that, "Sonic is definetally the most asked for character in SSBB." Of course, that doesn't mean he will be in it, but it does have some sort of meaning. Why would he tease fans like that if they weren't trying to get Sonic in the game. Gamers have been dying since the eighties and nineties to get Sonic and Mario in a game together. And by the looks of things, it's finally happening. As for all of you out there saying Sora from KH couldnt be in it, may I remind you that KH COM was a gba game? And what about famed final fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu doing the theme for SSBB? Seems fishy to me. Rayman would be a nice add on. Way cooler than most of the other ideas posted on this website. His moves practically beg for him to be in this game. Finally, Ubisoft has like seven wii projects and it's been announced that they ARE adding a character into the game. So my guess is that come 2007 we will be able to duke it out between Rayman and Mario. Oh and whoever said Luigi needs to go, his moves are different than Mario, way different. Luigi is by far the best character in Melee, and I beat event match 51 in 2.31.56 with him. So actually think about what you're saying before saying it.

Actually Pikaluk, it's the new Final Destination stage I think and so far that stage is just called floating platform on top of rocky canyon. Sonic would not suck! Everyone wants him and no one ever liked Earth Bound! I agree for another character but seriously, Earth Bound should be re-made into a 3D version. And myspacebarisbroken, it's a bit obvious that your space bar is not broken because you've put all those spaces in your sentence!

Rayman, Megaman and especially Sonic all have higher chances of making it than most realistic characters. Nintendo is mostly unrealistic characters (part of the reason I like it so much). Sonic is the most wanted 3rd party character in this game I hear. So yeah, chances are he'll be in it. Rayman? Maybe. Megaman? Maybe. But Rayman WOULD be pretty well fit for this game, he'd kick serious ass.

Cooler than scty you can do event 51 in less with Samus, trust me I did it. It just takes a few tries. It's easy to get rid of Giga Bowser but it takes just a little over a minute to take out Ganondorf and Mewtwo if you use the attacks at the right time.

JAKE: They should create portals leading from one level to another while battling. And maybe a Matrix special melee (or Brawl) where the speed of the fight randomly changes like every minute or something?

Ganondorf is OK but the fact that C Falcon has the same moveset as him and they're not even from the same franchise haunts me. Falco is an alright clone except he's too much like Fox. He has the same outfit, the blaster is a bit slower and he jumps higher. That's not enough differences! Falco's Fire Falcon move should be in blue flames. That's the only change I can think of but still. Fox is my best character and I kick ass! Seriously, I wish they had a level 12 or something. I defeated friggin All Star on Very Hard!

I think in Brawl when we all get it we should beat the living crap out of Darkvic online, that sounds fun! This is just a weird idea mind you, but what if Chibi Robo was in the game. He is a Nintendo franchise after all and they need new main characters in Brawl. Yes DarkVic I have. Toad could use his strength from Super Mario 2 and since he always runs around, he is quite fast. And his super smash move could be using a power star (that does give him a one hit KO and invincibility) to whack the crap outta you. Jigglypuff is unique and her up throw move could kill anyone say over about 50% damage and her rollout is powerful and rest is a one hit KO! Maybe it's because she's pink people hate her.

If you really think about it, in terms of third party characters it'll probably only be major characters from big time series. For instance, if they include Sonic characters, it will likely only be limited to Sonic. As for say, Baten Kaitos, it's unlikely there'll be anything from it because it's such a small series right now. Not to mention that characters from series like Halo and Kingdom Hearts won't be in it because other than KH:Chain of Memories there have been no games from those series on Nintendo systems (and KH because of the coexistence of the Square Enix and Disney copyrights). Final Fantasy? I can only see either Cloud or a general Black Mage in SSBB. In addition, any third-party series with only one or two games, unless it's incredibly successful, will either have a very slim or no chance at all of making it in. And for any of you hoping for someone like Shrek or James Bond being in it (which I doubt anyone is hoping for), don't. Nintendo doesn't want them ruining the name of its top fighting game franchise.

It's me Ja-Mez but I learned how to do that so that's my new name. Snake's moves look pretty awesome in the film. I'd say that move used by Wario could be called the Ass Barge. Yeah and it looks like there's a crawl feature now. Snake and Pikachu demonstrated this when Pikachu was crawling past the karts and when Snake was unaware of Wario's ass about to crush him. If they showed Shy-Guy as a part of a stage, he's obviously not playable.

Bowsers castle would be an ideal stage for Bowser rather than Yoshis Island from Super Mario World. Mewtwo also has a castle, New Island from the first Pokemon movie. I hope Samus has the Phazon Mines as a stage. The floor had blue Phazon on it and it took away like 2% every second but then after like 30 seconds, it would change to orange and take 5% like from Metroid Prime. Dlefino plaza would be good too with platforms that raise when water shots out of the Grand Pianta Statue. A new stage from Twi-Light Princess would be good. And Nintendo really needs to throw in a Fire Emblem stage. Maybe the interior of Peaches castle and I read that in Metroid Prime three, at the start, there is a vertical drop in a shaft after Ridley knoks you in and in Smash Bros, you could fight in mid air! How smart am I?

Maybe the Nintendog is some sort of a distraction item for online play. Sort of like you pick up the item and the Nintendog appears on your opponent's screen, distracting him/her while you are free to charge up a smash attack and blow them to bits. I don't like Sonic, Leon would make a much better 3rd party character. Ganondorfrules, I agree Fox just doesn't look right.

Ok META KNIGHT WILL KICK SOME MAJOR ASS! I really hope that nothing bad happens to him to make his mask fall off and reveal his real face. That would suck ass, but it would be cool if something were to happen to him to reveal his alter ego, Dark Meta Knight, or Dark Kirby! I think his smash move should make him call out his meta knights to attack his foes, that would be sick!

Oh sorry, I meant that lolo & lala are from the old eggerland series, their evil clones that look exactly alike are lololo & lalala, they are bosses in Kirby's Dream Land. They are also in some other Kirby games, still I think the original lolo & lala would be better, well I guess you couldn't really tell the difference, lol. I have a whole different theory on the Pokemon. Ok they should take out Pichu, Jigglypuff and Mewtwo and replace 'em with Meowth, Blaziken and Deoxys. Plus I was watching TV for reviews on ssbb, Sakurai even said himself that he really loves lolo & lala.

Ok well here's the low down. Sakurai said in a review that he cannot guarantee the return of all the characters. I'm giving you a rating here of what is most probable. Dr Mario, he's really a useless pointless garbage character who doesn't deserve to even think about being in brawl, maybe as a Mario costume, but that's it! Ok we already have Mario confirmed, he's cool. Luigi, most definitely I can easily see him returning with some new moves. Peach, she's been appearing in more games lately, I think she'll return. Bowser, another good chance of returning, I wouldn't worry about him. Yoshi, I'd give him a 96% chance of returning, he's been in since the beginning. DK, he will also return I'm betting, let's get some more DK characters in here now! C. Falcon, another really good chance of returning and he'd better or I'll put a gun to Sakurai's head, I can own anyone with Falcon! Ganondorf, ok I know a lot of people say he won't return due to being a clone, but I give him 85% chance of returning, none of that clone rubbish, he has a whole set of his own moves! Falco hmm, not too sure. I'll give him a 55% chance, I mean I know he's a main character in Star Fox, I know Slippy and Peppy can't fight for beans but there's Wolf and Krystal to consider so we'll have to see, Falco fans keep your fingers crossed. Fox, confirmed, no worries. Ness, same as Yoshi, even though it may not seem that he will return you'll be surprised, we need more of Ness' buddies in ssbb! I'm sorry, but the ice climbers are gone, they are really up high in the super irrelevant area, I wouldn't get my hopes up, bye bye Nana & Popo. Kirby, damned right he's confirmed! Samus, she's really super attractive, I love her, she's cool, plus we already know that she's confirmed. Zelda, yea it's most likely, but the Sheik idea was so random, just get Zelda a whole new set of cool moves. Obviously Link's been confirmed. Really sorry to break it to you all, but our little cutie Pichu, he is sitting on the bench with the ice climbers and Dr Mario, in other words he's out of here. Don't feel too depressed though, some other cool Pokemon will probably replace 'em. Pickachu, I don't know how they could not include him, oh well, he's already been confirmed. Jigglypuff eh, I'll give her a 65% chance, it's better chance then Falco but hey she's been in since the start so I guess she's in brawl to stay, we'll have to see. Mewtwo, he was cool but Deoxys would own, get him in there! Needless to say, I give Mewtwo a 40% chance to stay. Mr Game & Watch, well he was cool, some interesting moves, but seriously he pretty much never existed before ssbm, he's in the boat with Pichu and the others. Marth was like the main character in the original Fire Emblem, he started the series, I'm giving him a 70% chance of staying. Ok Roy, I'll give him a 35% chance, don't get wrong Roy's pretty cool but there are other Fire Emblem characters to replace him, probably Eliwood, maybe Hector. Anyway that's my basic opinion on it.

Oh ya! Also I forgot Young Link, yup he's pretty much out of here too, maybe the Link from the wind waker. Does anyone have any thoughts on the arenas? I was thinking like a cool Mute City arena from F-Zero, the platforms could go upside down and around in loops traveling with the racers, or you could fight on top of the racer and destroy them as well, it would be sick!

I agree with Operative snake. All of it. I think diddy should be in it. He's kind of popular with a few Mario games. I like Dixie kong. She could fly like peach. She wouldn't be too bad for a character I guess.

Okay we all know that the man himself is in this game, that's right Solid Snake. But to be honest how can they fit him in? Don't get me wrong I love MGS but in a game like this it's a toughie. He's a killer and I would be very shocked if he snaps Mario's neck, or knife out Pikachu's face. I don't want to see that so just throwing that out there.

Wii Are The World
Here are my ideas for SSBB. First of all, all SSBM characters should return with the exceptions of Pichu, Dr. Mario (should be a Mario costume) and Young Link. Mr Game & Watch and the Ice Climbers probably will be gone. They will be missed. Wind Waker Link would be a great replacement for Young Link. As for Pokemon, Mewtwo should stay along with Jigglypuff (Jiggs may not have been the best but she was better than Pichu or Dr Mario, her Rollout attack was sick). New ones, Blazikien, Meowth and (for personal reasons) Squirtle. I stopped playing Pokemon after there were 251 Pokemon, so forgive me for not knowing too many new ones. Roy and Marth should stay, but no more Fire Emblem characters. As for new Mario series characters: Waluigi, Toad, Daisy as a Peach costume, Shyguy, Bowser Jr., Birdo, and Baby Mario and Luigi as a team. Diddy Kong would, in my opinion, be perfect for this game. Donkey Kong moves with agility of Pikachu. King Dedede would be pushing it because of Meta Knight. Star Wolf would be a great villain addition. As for third party guys, Megaman, Bomberman, or Sonic. Tails and Knuckles would be pushing the amount of third party guys, although they would be nice to see in Sonic's super attack. By the way, what's the deal with guys like Sora and Riku and Cloud? If I recall they were in a game called Kingdom Hearts. If they're in it then why not Mickey Mouse or Peter Pan. Besides, ANIME WOULD NOT FIT IN THIS GAME. SORRY! As for Ridley, I personally do not think a huge dragon would fit. Spyro has a better chance than him. At least he would fit on the screen. And for those who think that Pac Man would be good, can I get a hit off that joint you're smoking. His A attack could be eating you and his B attack could be eating you, oh what fun! Lastly, here are some that have no chance but would make the game a lot more interesting: Jesus, Chuck Norris, all five Tetris blocks, Harry Potter and Mr. Hankey The Christmas Poo.

Wii are the World, I like your character removals. The Pokemon sound good, although maybe replace mewtwo with deoxys. I think that's a few too many Mario characters, but Bowser jr sounds good. Get rid of roy and add new fire emblem character. Diddy would be cool but Dixie's a long shot. When people say pac-man, they're referring to the 3-d platformer version who can run, jump and do kicks.

The people you're playing aren't too smart, because they actually let you reflect projectiles back at them. Also, for a third party character I nominate a Final Fantasy 3 (6 in japan). Terra, Kefka, Sabin, Shadow and/or Celes. Final Fantasy 3 (6 in japan) had some of the top sales for Super Nintendo games, plus in my opinion is the best Final Fantasy yet; characters and storyline were all great.

Injected
As an avid smasher, I've read up on Brawl about as much as I can. 40-50 playable characters are to be in it, "clone" characters are either to be removed or be revamped with a more personalized fighting style. Young Link is said to be Replaced with Wind Waker Link, Ice Climbers are said to be removed due to Nintendo wanting Pit to be their representative old-school character, and Mr. Game & Watch is said to be removed for a similar reason as the Ice Climbers, combined with lack of character use. Pichu is said to be removed because of difficulty personalizing his moves in a separate vein from Pikachu's moves. Zero-Suit Samus is NOT a separate character. Samus BECOMES Zero-Suit Samus (probably much like Zelda and Shiek). Master Chief has 0% chance of being in the game. Master Chief is Microsoft's iconic character. Allowing his usage in Brawl would be bolstering Brawl's popularity even further, and thus selling more units for Nintendo. Don't count on any Square Soft characters being included either, as I've read that they are in talks with Microsoft. As for characters that WILL be in it, all I can say is that if they were in BOTH previous Smash games, you can rest assured that they will be in Brawl. Those are Nintendo's core and staple characters after all. And with all that said, the release date is said to be sometime in June of 2007, but release dates tend to change. To all those who are impatient and say they can't wait, would you really want a Smash Brothers game that wasn't completely finished, refined, and polished? You can't rush perfection.

Wii Are The World
I still don't think that Pac-Man would be a good character, even 3-D. I do, however, think that there should be boards dedicated to some of the older video games. For example, a Pac-Man stage, the original Donkey Kong stage (could make it like a race to the finish in adventure mode, if you get to the character, then he or she will be your ally in the next round), Galaga, Centipede, Pong, all the classics. Of course the Dunk Hunt stage, maybe with that dog coming out and attacking you and shooting ducks down to retrieve items that they're holding. Injected, I highly doubt that the reason that they are removing the Ice Climbers and Mr. Game& Watch is based solely on that they are old and so is Pit. Everything else I agree with you on. Ras, Final Fantasy characters will most likely not find their way on the battlefield. They may be popular, but I don't see them working while fighting Mario and Donkey Kong. I have just one last new character that could quite possibly be the greatest idea on this website so far. THE HAMBURGLER. Think about it.

I could see Wolverine being in there just because he would have so many possible moves and combos, but I don't think spiderman would do too well. Turkey I completely agree with you because I thought the stamina matches were always too short in ssbm.

I'm with you Wolfen. I think they should put more Star Fox characters in as well. Also, they should put Wind waker Link and baby Bowser, that would be cool. Unfortunately Sonic won't be making an appearance, but I'm sure a lot of other great characters will compensate for their absence!

Lol ja-mez! I saw your posts around sometimes. I agree with you. King dedede would be pretty good. And each character should have their own symbol. They should have a judge on it too. Like toad would be good or something. And waluigi is not in the game. I wish.

I agree with Ja-Mez as well about King Dedede. I'm not a big fan of this character, but I can see him fitting well into the game. Same about DK's bad guy, King K Rool. SSBM somehow lacks variety in heavier characters. Maybe more DK character could be added such as Diddy, Dixie or Lanky Kong (that orangutan in DK64; he could make funny move using his long arms!). Regarding the mix of Sheik and Marth, I was thinking of it for Krystal. If she ever makes her way into the game, she could use her staff/spear (from SF Adventures) to assist acrobatic move/kicks/somersault (Sheik), or use it as a spear to poke/slash/stun (Marth), if that makes any sense. Oh, and to Krystal/furry haters, I'm not a male furry who thinks she's 'hot', I'm speaking on behalf of my two younger sisters who do not consider playing the game as another character! Also, Wolf punching rather than kicking? Yeah, that sure sounds more like him. Maybe he could also make use of that kind of bionic eye he's got since Star Fox Assault.
