Golden Hammer item in Brawl

STOP! Golden Hammer time. Sakurai has revealed a new item in Super Smash Bros Brawl, the Golden Hammer.

Rarer than the bog standard hammer, the golden one is more powerful and allows you to swing it faster. Also, if you tap the button quickly you can float in midair.


This will look good in my closet.

It looks like the characters react differently to various actions on the screen, for example Bowser looking back as Peach chases him. That or Nintendo is making the game look good with doctored pics.

Pretty cool that now you can recover a little easier after going off the edge with the hammer, but that's about the only real advantage I can see aside from just damage.

They should put and item called the cape. If you grab it, you can put it on and fly around. That'd be awesome.
