An update on the official Havok site lists Super Smash Bros Brawl as one of the games using its technology.

SSBB using Havok.
Havok is a company formed in Ireland, most known for supplying physics engines to developers to use in their games.

I already reserved a copy of this game. It would be pretty sweet if this game had rag doll physics.
Pikachu
This is great! It'll really improve the gameplay in the game.

Yes! I've never heard of Havok, but I love physics engines. And now it's in Brawl.

But are their physics any good? If they worked with Nintendo on Twilight Princess, I must say they suck. Play the "Roll Goal" game in the fishing hut and see exactly what I'm talking about.

I wonder what this means ssbb.

Whoah! This is huge. I cannot believe Nintendo would use an outside system like that. It's great but odd at the same time.

Weird. Does that mean Brawl isn't made with the same engine its prequels were made with? I've always thought Nintendo made their own engines too.

Yesss. For those of you that don't know, havok is a pretty darn good physics engine, so this is very good for brawl! W00tsauce.

Nah it's cool, they have provided the physics for big titles such as halo and halo 2 and others. Trust me, they look good.

Wii has a customized true desk top cpu with out of order instruction execution. It's far more powerful clock for clock than cell or xcpu, its out of order true cpu heart and deep rich registers and branch prediction is just what physics engines need. Hollywood like Flipper before it has in-built animation and physics support, like water physics, animations etc. The whole Wii can't when in fact Wii can is clearly being proven in smash bros/galaxy/prime 3. Third parties please pull finger out of rear end and make polished Wii games.

That's brilliant, I wonder if someday we'll have a "Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Havok" game? Woo! Go Ireland.

But Nintendo said that their physics engine was near as good as Havoks before the Wii came out. Weird.
