Strong week for Wii sales in Japan

Wii saw heavy sales in Japan last week, check it out:

  1. DS Lite - 141,967
  2. Wii - 109,854
  3. PSP - 37,578
  4. PS3 - 13,493
  5. Xbox360 - 2,942

Possibly a major factor is the release of Dragon Quest Swords, which is selling like hot cakes.

I know a few people that are going to buy the Wii when Mario Galaxy comes out. And when Metroid 3 comes out.

That's true, Scooby Jew. Can you imagine if Nintendo packaged copies of Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros or Metroid in with Wiis. Actually, they could be colour themed Wiis. Like a Green for Zelda, Black for Metroid, Blue for Mario and Red or Orange for Super Smash Bros. When Mario Kart comes out, they could make a purple Wii.

I wouldn't count on it KOOL-AID. Well maybe the PSP will in a year or two, but the pathetic 360 never will. Take that Microsoft.
