I didn't expect dedede to be in. Well that's another villain and heavyweight. I don't like the looks of him though, he looks like a little penguin - not like the one I know.

Ah yes, King Dedede joins the Brawl. I expected him to appear either as a Playable Character or an Assist Trophy if they couldn't think of enough moves for him to use. However I guess they found enough moves and a Final Smash for him so he's in.

Well, I certainly didn't expect him to be a playable character. I thought of Dedede more as an assist trophy. But this is good, nevertheless. If the developers are actually putting such low-profile characters in the roster, who knows what other characters will be given a chance to join the brawl.

I guess he's ok, but which is the main bad guy of Kirby games, King Dedede or Meta Knight? Because I would like to have a 4vs villain battle when I get Brawl. I wonder what the Ice Climbers say about King DEDE's mallet.

Peach is #1, King Dedede is the main villain in the Kirby games. Meta Knight only becomes the villain if he sees something he doesn't like and wants to change it by force. However Meta Knight is usually one of Kirby's allies.

The Kirby circle is now complete. I'm so happy he's in, I always knew he was going to join the game but I'm so freakin excited to see the Kirby trio together! Also, to Gerardo, he's not as low-profile as Lucas (or Ness for that matter) and who the hell were Marth & Roy before they joined Melee?! Anyway I'm just glad to see some great news for once (ever since Sonic the updates have been kind of sucky).

Yeah, I remember a lot of people talking about it. I was one of the more doubtful ones unfortunately, and kept saying "No, I doubt he's going to be in Brawl". Can't be right 100% of the time, I suppose. 99.9% will have to suffice.

When I first saw this, I was stunned. How could they put Dedede in Brawl? But the more I think about it, the more I realize that this might not be that bad of a move after all.

This isn't a surprise one bit. Nintendo talked about needing more kirby characters, villains, and fatsos (meaning heavy characters). Dedede fits all of these, especially the third one.

Divinityboy, there are actually three, Kirby also has a giant hammer remember. But I'm glad Dedede is in Brawl and am hoping for him to be considered a villain, possibly one that becomes a hero. This should cover all the playable Kirby characters. However personally hoping for Dark Matter or Nightmare as a boss.

What's up with Lucario? I don't really see why so many people like him. All I need is ganondorf, vaati, zant, midna, wolf link, skull kid, and windwaker link. Not too much to ask for, is it?

Lucario is just an awesome character to some people. What if someone said that you should redo your list because they don't like any of the characters on it? Of course you'll argue back because you like those characters and that's the same with Lucario, a lot of people like him/her and want him as a playable character.

Guess you're not familiar with the Pokemon franchise. Well Lucario isn't a legendary, however he was featured in the 8th Pokemon movie "Lucario and the Mystery of Mew". The movie itself got an anime award (or nomination, I need to look it up). In the movie Lucario played a great role. In the Pokemon world overall, Lucarios are Fighting and Steel-Types and are born fighters. Due to the movie and game background of the species, many people would like Lucario as it was a fighter in both movies and games.

3 characters for Kirby, huh? Guess all we need now (besides the last 3rd party character) are two characters from Star Fox and maybe two from Metroid. Star Fox: Krystal and Wolf (we need more females and villains). Metroid: Sylux and Weavel (both from Metroid Prime Hunters). To me, Zero Suit Samus isn't a another character; she is just Samus in another form. Why list her Zero Suit form as a separate character? Oh, and King K Rool from Donkey Kong too.

Well, Zero Suit Samus is noticed as another character, but doesn't really take up a metroid character space. In Melee, Sheik was noticed as a character but isn't placed on the character select screen. Just a transformation of Zelda, as is Zero to Samus. Also in Melee, even though Sheik and Zelda were in it (besides the fact that they were one character) there was still three more characters from the Zelda series, Link (of course), Ganondorf, and Young Link. So it's very possible there can be two more metroid characters, even though I personally don't think there will be. Ridley will most likely be a boss.

King Dedede is going to be amazing. He was the most wanted villain in Japan. And there are too many Pokemon in the game already. Dedede is not evil. He only fights for himself.
