Metroid preview channel

There's a new channel available to download from the WiiWare section in the shopping area. It's a promotion for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, offering a trailer and some gameplay footage.

So far it's only available in the US. If you're not in the states, or you're just lazy, here's what what happens:

Here's hoping the controls are as tight as the footage suggests.

The Virtual Console will be getting its share of Metroid action as well, with the original Metroid for NES and Super Metroid both being released in the next two weeks.

Awesome! When I got TP it was my first zelda game and it was mad and now this is going to be my first metroid game, I can't WAIT.

As good as Metroid 1 and 3 are, they should have spaced them out more. It really sucks though because school is about to reopen. Thanks a lot Nintendo.

I saw Ridley! There's honestly no Metroid without Ridley. The rapid-fire was probably the coolest feature I saw on the trailer, but I'm not saying that's the only one. Can't wait to get this game.

I'm hoping that the "One Last Mission" line meant the end of the Prime trilogy, and not the end of Metroid. Otherwise, I'm drooling for this game.
