Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is shaping up to be the best Prime game yet. I absolutely loved the previous Prime games and I am absolutely sure that Retro will bring a winner for the Wii. I can't wait to buy the game when the Wii launches!

How many adventures can Samus have in between metroids 1 and 2? (wich is when the Prime series takes place). I want to continue the story of Samus and her 2d legacy. I agree with you, Old Man Hayes. I think the problem is that they got rid of the two main planets that Samus hunted on and the metroids are extinct. You really can't have a metroid game without metroids.

People are saying that MP3 looks like gamecube which is crap. The game has more polygons, better lighting, bigger environments, smart a.i. and beautiful particle effects not possible on gamecube.

I sure hope this is my last game. I'm freakin' tired of fighting these darn aliens over and over, give me a break. I better have cooler suits too and stronger weapons. Don't give me all that light beam stuff. I'm talkin' about ak-47s, rocket launchers, shotguns, pistols, plasma cannons and light sabers. And for suits, don't give me all that silver light stuff. I'm talkin' about bullet proof vests and other things like that. This will probably be my last game for all of you, but before I leave I just wanna thank Nintendo for everything and I love you all. NOT!

Sorry Samus. No 21st century stuff, you retro junkie! Metroid is set in the FUTURE, so think FUTURISTIC. Besides, you'd only use handguns if you didn't have the Varia suit or whatever.

A little off topic but I'd realy like to see a Metroid storyline game (with metroid 1,2,3 and maybe 4) and actually give us a bit of story line, like a prolog or those things that tell us what's happening before the game. I REALLY didn't understand Metroid 1 until zero mission. But back to Prime 3, THIS IS DA BOMB!, NO.. THE NUKE! Lol. I saw Samus use the space jump ability from Metroid 3, wonder what else they'll have. Spring ball anyone? And Demon5007, maybe the metroid suit Samus had in fusion is taken by space pirates and they clone themselves with metroid DNA. Now that's Metroid to the max: Metroid Pirate!

Oh great. Samus is posting. 10 bucks says Spongebob is going to start posting about his game next. Come on! And why would Samus hope that's her last game? And why does she want weapons that would suck compared to the weapons she already uses? Pistols? And bullet-proof vests don't really do much for you when you're in space. And I'm really sure Samus dosn't talk like that (end rant). Any dang way, this game is gonna be great. I just beat Metroid DS yesterday, and I can't wait to beat this one!

What's so wrong about the light/dark thing? I actually thought it made the game more challenging. Okay it was annoying with how often you had to switch between worlds, but if it weren't there I would've completed MP2 overnight. It has its pros and cons, so don't just give three-word opinions.

I agree with all of you, like I never played any of the MP games to be honest. I never got the money to buy any and I don't have a DS. But I rented out MP2 echoes once, that game rocked. My mate didn't think so but stuff him, he is an xbox kid but most of all he loves world of warcraft. That game pawns along with this one.

Sorry if this has been said before, but I didn't read the whole page. It would be cool to see some returning hunters from Metroid Prime Hunters. With the new graphics, they could look pretty cool. Also, imagine uploading new features to your DS, or to your Wii from the other console! Cross platform wifi battles would be cool, kind of tough to really pull off but I can always dream. Lickwid is my hunters name, add me to your rivals list.

Metroid prime 3 will have you travelling between planets to stop the corruption and you will be able to control her ship from a third person view when using the command visor.

What happened to zero-suit? I'm not such a Metroid fan and I've never seen her without her suit. Is that just Nintendo's idea for only one game, SSBB, or has she appeared without any suit on?

On the topic of Samus in her undies or whatever, maybe you'll have to do it the old way: Type Justin Bailey into the codes section. Maybe it'll be an unlockable extra like the fusion suit in Prime 1. Or maybe they'll do the old 'the better you do, the more flesh you can see at the end' thing like in Super, Fusion and Zero Mission. In any case, Samus is hot! Aw tittybiscuits, it's been delayed. Oh well.

Kraid got shafted from Metroid Prime 1, so it would be fair to at least bring him back respectfully. I hope that the music is better than MP2. The Amorbis and Thardus battles are the best in the series. Now that BigN PURPOSELY delayed it, I'm expecting a PERFECT PRIME! I bought GCN for MP alone and I will buy a Wii for the same.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to get this game but I have no doubts that my brother is. I can never really "get into" games like Metroid, so it would just be kind of a waste of money for me. Nevertheless, this looks like one of Retro's better games and if I was really into the series, I'd buy it in a flash. And lastly: I really hope to see Mother Brain in this game, that would rule.

Nothing will ever top Super Metroid, unless they bring back 2D. Fusion and Zero were okay, but too straight forward. In my opinion, Metroid, Metroid II, and Super Metroid is where it's at and they should start again from there. Don't get me wrong, the Primes are fun, just in a different way.

This is the first game for Wii I wanted besides SSBB and I'd love to see it in action whilst using the Wiimote. I read about this and the storyline and new upgrades are totally awesome!
