NBA Live 08 Wii
EA have officially confirmed that NBA Live 08 is heading to the Wii.
No release dates or control schemes are known. EA's last sports game on the Wii, Madden 07 was a critical success and brought a refreshing change to the series using the motion sensors. Hopefully the NBA Live 08 project, led by EA's Canada division can achieve similar results.
Gilbert Arenas, the Washington Wizards' star will make it onto the game's front cover.

Yeah Gilbert! First Ovechkin and now Arenas. Washington is full of young stars. Next it will be Freddy Adu's turn.
As much as I dislike the majority of sports games, this is an incredibly good sign. Developers seemed to shy away from the Gamecube, and Ninty lost a lot of fans because of that. I hope Big N can regain its sports prowess.
Might be hard. The Wii-mote technically isn't suited for all games.
Does live mean it will be online?
Next comes the news stories of people throwing their wiimotes across the room when trying to make a basket- Ouch! Three pointer! Right through the 42" TV!

I wonder if Gilbert can take off his jersey and throw it into the crowd after the end of a game. Or maybe he will be throwing his jersey in the cover.

Not really into sports games, but this one might have me. The only thing I'm worried about is the control scheme for the Wii. Can the wiimote support sport games? Only time will tell. Can't wait though should be interesting. Oh, Steve Nash should've been on the cover.

When is this going to be released?
Nba live 08 is horrible, no franchise, no dynasty, gameplay is average. EA is really starting to thin itself.
Everything's good except there is no dynasty mode.
I hate the judges on the slam dunk contest.
They should make it so that you can do fantasy-draft in season mode.
When are they going to make a college hoop game for Wii? I am dying to play college hoops. I just hope it has a good march madness mode and dynasty college football sucked.
