Entrances in Smash Bros Brawl

Everyone likes to make a grand entrance in the Smash Bros series, this continues in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

At the beginning of each match the fighters make their way onto the screen in their own stylish way. There's a three second countdown then chaos commences.


The sewers around here are rough.

Good thing they're bringing this back. Even though it's such a small thing, it makes the game sicker.

I was disappointed these weren't in Melee; but I did complain to myself that Pikachu wasn't supposed to be in a Pokeball.

Well I remember seeing Samus coming out of the save point pods that are in the first Metriod games and Sonic simply does a spin jump onto the stage. I bet you that Pokemon Trainer would be on stage already, jump into the background, and then choose the first Pokemon to fight. Also Pit's big toe looks weird, all the others look fine.

Hey, I just noticed this, everyone (but Mario) is entering in their own world. Starfox in Lylat Cruise, Ice Climbers in The Summit, Pit in Skyworld, Lucas in New Pork City, Ike in Castle Siege, and Snake in Shadow Moses Island. But if that is the case then why did Mario appear in Smashville instead of Delfino Plaza (Maybe he took the wrong pipe, =P)? I think they should have also shown Yoshi in Yoshi Island, Link/Zelda in Bridge of Eldin, Donkey Kong/Diddy Kong in Rumble Falls, Wario in WarioWare, Pikachu/Pokemon Trainer in Pokemon Stadium 2, and Meta Knight in Halberd. Peach could have also been shown in Delfino Plaza.

I missed these in Melee, I'm so glad to have them back. I figure Peach's will be her floating in by umbrella. I can't wait to see more of these.

I really wanted this. I was so freakin happy when I saw it in one of those videos. I want to see the Pokemon Trainer and I hope Bowser has a huge explosion and then he appears out of it with a dramatic roar! This makes the game so much better, thank god they brought this back and not those boring trophies.

I missed these in Melee. It's not a big update, but it gives me that tingly feeling, that this game will be classic, and new, all at the same time.

Link should appear through a twilight teleporter, Kirby smashes down on a warp star, Pokeball for Pikachu, Yoshi cracks out of an egg, DK swings down on a vine, MetaKnight glides down, Zero Suit comes in the same as Samus, but then cracks her armor, Peach parasols down, Zelda teleports, Sonic smashes down as a ball, Diddy jetpacks downward. Not sure about Pokemon Trainer. These are only guesses people.

Even the mayor on the first pic can't bear the stench of those sewers, and how are they rough? You can't crap on animal crossing.

One of the tiniest ideas to include in a game, and yet I felt sad to see them not in Melee. Good move bringing them back.

Man I loved these and was disappointed that they were cut for melee. More characters = more super cool intros. Great update, although small.

Sonic's is simple so don't get excited (he bounces in as a ball). My favorite is Meta's (he fades in from nowhere) and Mario's classic entrance. I can't wait to see Kirby's (in animation form, not pics).
