I'd thought the results would be more different.
I really want to play SMRPG, I live in south Wales so it wasn't released near me and it looks like so much fun.
No Kirby Super Stars? Blast it, I want that game.
I'd want Super Mario RPG and the original super smash bros.
OHHH YEAAAA. Sorry about that I'm just so happy with the results. I was rooting for every one of these games, even though the only one I've ever played was Majora's Mask (great game). I've still always wanted to play SMRPG, Chrono Trigger etc. Nintendo BETTER put these games on the VC now that they've heard what we want. And make a gosh dang sequel to SMRPG.
Why so many RPGs?
Mother and Mother 2 huh, that's a good request. I really like the idea of Majora's Mask, here are my requests though: 1) Super Mario Kart 2) Alex Kidd in Miracle World 3) Majora's Mask 4) Wolfenstein 3D (SNES) 5) FF6.
Where's the original smash bros?! You would think people would want that.

Yay! Earthbound FTW! I just got the game for real for 80 bucks so that's a good deal, but I really just wanted to see Earthbound win. It's a superb game that everyone should play.

Oh yea that's the one problem, no Fire Emblem, and no original Smash bros. Dang it! Oh well Fire Emblem, and Smash Bros should be in there soon.

Earthbound and Mother are fun games. I really wish they'd release them on the VC. Oh, and they already made a "spiritual" sequel to Super Mario RPG (which is one of the best Mario, btw). I mean where do you think that Paper Mario came from? They play the same. It's just that SMRPG was a Nintendo/Square project (which is why there are some Square characters in the game), so they had to change it up for the sequel when Square dropped out.

I want Majora's Mask more than any other game ever conceived. I have the Collector's Edition, but I want to use the Classic Controller. I'd like to see Mario RPG too.
Nintendo IQue yes they've had other Mario RPGs but no true direct sequels to the very first one. I'm talking about one with Mallow and Geno returning as playable characters and a sequel that Square and Nintendo would make together. It ticks me off that Nintendo and Square are being too stubborn to just make a god dang sequel already. Square could at least have let Nintendo keep the character rights over Geno and let them make their own sequel. By the way the battle system between SMRPG and the other Mario RPGs are actually very different.

I've been wondering for a long time. How does the Battle system work in earthbound? Is it turn based (going to a different screen to battle, think Pokemon), action based (think LoZ), or something else?

I think games from the lufia series would generate a lot of purchases. I played lufia 2 and fell in love, any old school rpg lover can appreciate this game especially for those like myself whose "virgin rpg's" were from the lufia series. Please back me up people, I want to see this game on vc so bad.
I have been waiting a long time for Rocket Knight Adventures to come out on virtual console. I really enjoyed the game when I played it.
I want Earthbound! And why are Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG not on VC yet either?
To what I know SMRPG is on both the US and European VC. Earthbound yea we need Earthbound bad. As for chrono trigger just buy the DS remake of it. It includes an extra alternate ending along with several other features.

Pff, Nintendo's been toying with Earthbound fans forever, chances of it on the Wii? Little to none. But that's what fan translations are for. Blue blue.
Kidd: Please if anything US Earthbound fans have been toying with Nintendo. When Earthbound came to America they knew the US wasn't into RPGs at the time and they weren't taking any chances, they advertised the CRAP out of it! They even had it come with its own very well created strategy guide, and guess what? The sales plummeted terribly in the US, where Chrono Trigger sold like hot cakes around the same time (it was the 3rd best selling game that year why do you think they ended up remaking it on the DS). So after advertising the crap out of Earthbound, and practically serving it to American gamers on a silver platter, just to have it rejected and cast into Chrono Trigger's shadow, then suddenly wanted back years later by American gamers SERIOUSLY. You don't think that WOULDN'T piss Nintendo off just a little? Also the game has a wide variety of songs, many of which are facing copyright issues, this is also holding it back. I want Earthbound as much as the next person, but can you really blame them for thinking twice about remaking the game or putting it on the VC?
