This might be a good game. I haven't played Red Steel 1, but I've heard the game was good. This game might be better.

I loved red steel, even though it was full of glitches! My friend threw a grenade into a super small closed vent and it went through and killed my friend.

Ho ho ho-oray?

I hated Red Steel, that was one of the worst Wii games. Number 2 should be better.

YES. Yes yes yes yes. Oh this is one of my favorite games (despite the glitches and controls). I always like playing against my friends, and online is awesome, let's hope they have sword duels in this one.

Red steel sucked and I don't think the second one could be any better.

I hope this better than the original.

What about better graphics?

I think that there was a lot to like in the first Red Steel, but it was drastically overshadowed by a collection of VERY poor design choices. With some careful development time, and taking tips from more successful control formulas, Wii could have a winner on our hands.

I have hope for this game, but they may cut out the blood.

A lot of the time, sequels make the game worse.

The first one was so rubbish I didn't even buy it (I played it at my cousin's house).

Yeah, Wii Freak, better graphics would be good. I thought red steel was so bad I gave it away.
wiiman said:
The thing you have to consider is that redsteel was a launch game on Wii whose control system had never been witnessed ever by a developer other then Nintendo so based on that I think it was pretty good.
TruBlu said:
They didn't mention anything about graphics.

I had the 1st red steel, it was ok. The graphics sucked. I hope the 2nd red steel is better.

I thought the first one was an alright single player experience with an awesome control scheme. The multiplayer was fantastic and suffered only from the lack of weapon choices and play options. If they can flesh out the multiplay experience (see online play!) then this would be sweet. I just hope they don't mess up the controls in an attempt to "improve" them.
