Deca Sports

Deca Sports (Sports Island) lets up to four players compete against one another simultaneously in ten different disciplines to test their reactions and skills to the limit.

The type of event players can compete in starts with the more familiar, like Football and Basketball and moves right across the athletic spectrum taking in Badminton, Curling and Figure Skating!

Each event will require users to master the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in various ways as the demands of each event takes shape. Archery requires a steady hand to keep the Wii Remote while a twist of the wrist in the Snowboarding section will see the player navigate the slopes with consummate ease. In Figure Skating players need to keep to the music and correctly time all of their jumps and spins in order to impress the judges.

There will be multiple game modes in addition to the obvious single and multiplayer options, but it is the latter where this game will really come into its own. The full list of events within Sports Island is: Beach Volleyball, Snowboard Cross, Badminton, Basketball, Curling, Figure Skating, Archery, Supercross, Football and Kart Racing.

Looks good, especially archery and karts. I'll get this if it proves itself. The characters look much better than the awful looking mii's.

This game looks awesome! Maybe not better than Wii sports, or maybe I'm wrong. If this comes to America, it will be huge.

Hmm played this game some and was actually pretty disappointed. Beachvolley is kind of fun, badminton is ok but didnt like the controls for it, too different from playing real badminton. The rest of the games werent that great and most of them can be found better other places. (who wants to play deca football og deca kart when you got PES, FIFA and Mario Kart?).

That's true Barksdale, but nobody wants to spend $140 on 3 great sport games when they can spend $30 on 3 normal ones plus 7 others that could still be fun for others in multiplayer. Still sounds like the game is worth it to me, especially for $29.99.

$29.99?! I thought this was $50. I wish I knew, it would be in my library of games by now.

Microsoft and Sony are greedy companies. Nintendo has always been nicely priced.

I love this game! I enjoy skating the most. I do the championship, except I can't pass the silly second round.
