This is a horse racing game. It turns out that a furlong is a measurement of distance. Sorry, but Final Fantasy doesn't have any relation to this one.

Oh "Final" Furlong, makes sense then (unlike Final Fantasy). As in, the last furlong before the end of the race.

The wiimote could be used to manipulate the reins, making for some very realistic riding.

There could be a sequel. Just because it has final in the title don't mean nothing, look at Final Fantasy. By the way isn't each story of that meant to be the final chapter? What's with them making sequels?

GOD! Can't they just make more normal games for the Wii? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they are all fun with the Wii mote, but I'm sure a game like Resi 4 would suit the Wii more.

Well, put it this way. You're a jockey and you're shaking the reins to get the horse moving. You're also using a crop to get him blazing for that "final furlong" to win the race. The only thing missing is the strain with the legs and knees felt balancing in the stirrups, but the Wii controller is perfect for this. Horse Racing games will catch for the Wii. I'm also looking forward to flying, hockey, baseball and hunting.

This game has been around in the arcades for years! You have to actually sit on the horse and bounce it to ride. The only use I can see the wiimote being is possibly as the whip.

Yes, a furlong is 1/8th of a mile. Not many people may know what a furlong is, but anyone who is seriously interested in horse racing would know.
