Vince Young is on the cover.

Vince Young on the cover. I'm going to cop this one. Imagine the graphics.

Not being funny yanks, but that game you cheekily call football is one boring sport. Football is without helmets and kicking a football that's round. If EA take the piss graphically I'm going to throw a fit, not that I'm buying it but there's an obvious pattern emerging - hold back graphics on Wii as to push graphics marketing on competition, and push controller marketing on Wii. There's guys employed at 3rd parties that are trying to say Wii is an xbox, those comments are POLITICAL not FACTUAL.

I got a friend who said he might buy a Wii just for Madden.

Want
As a 'yank' myself, WIIBOY101, I thoroughly agree.

Madden curse
Vince young is going to get hurt this year now!

Anyone notice it's no longer 200_. It's 06, 07 etc. I guess that shows how lazy people are getting in the coming years.

Well, I'm a football (soccer) and a football (helmets) fan. The football (soccer) is certainly a wonderful, free-flowing, exciting game when it's a good one. The nice points about football (helmets) though, include an unmatched level of strategy and teamwork involved. Not that soccer doesn't require either, but if you took the time to learn american football, you'd enjoy it.

Good game but I want mario football. Yoshi would be my running back and luigi would be my qb. GO LONG.

Football Language
American style football is called "gridiron football" when you want to distinguish it from "football" as it is known in the rest of the world (whereas, the Americans just call it soccer).

WIIBOY101, gridiron is so fun to watch just to see people getting smashed. I do think though that all the protection is stupid. And soccer (football) is not fun to watch, only to play, 'cos they just keep kicking it around and they hardly ever even run at the damned ball.

Luigi
This finally came out! Can't wait to get it.

Why didn't Wii get NCAA 08 football? College sports are WAY better than pro sports.

desdemona
Football! Being from Massachusetts, my favorite team is the New England Patriots. This is definitely a must-buy. Yea, Splint, college football is great (GO BROWN!), but NFL is much better.
