What the? They're making an American Movie based off an old anime TV show that came to Cartoon Network many years ago. Why ruin an anime's reputation with an American movie?

It's live action, starring that one guy from Lost. My problem with it, is that they fudged up the mach 5. It's a Wachowski bros movie (the guys who made the Matrix).

This has been brought up in EGM or something recently. Anyways, if they're going to ruin Speed Racer with a mediocre game and redundant movie, at LEAST put Dee-Dee, Monkey, Dexter and Mandark in.

Man I use to watch this show when I was a small child. I hope the movie doesn't suck and ruin the old tv show. It's live action but it has the CG graphics. It's not a cartoon movie.

Yes Quartz, it was anime. Notice in the show, they have terrible lip-sync. And they parodied it on shows like Dexter's Lab & Fairly-Odd Parents.
