The only Madden you're gonna need... this year.

Football season has been over for a while now. If you're not a baseball fan, Nascar fan, or Golf fan then you are suffering from withdrawal right about now. But Madden is your cure.
The reason the Wii is with us, the gameplay. Madden 07 is THE most interactive game for the Wii, between having to punch forward to tackle, or waving your arms to have the crowd cheer you on, there are more actions mapped to motion in this game than any other solid game.
Every action is mapped perfectly, from having to make sure to throw the ball smoothly for more accuracy, or getting it off so you don't get tackled 15 yards back, it is all in you.
There is a rather large learning curve to understand the game, but you're not alone. There are in game tutorials that help you make your plays. What if your kid brother wants to play? Well there is a solution there too. Because EA has "EA"sy play. I know, I want to turn off the game for that pun too, but the game mode simplifies the play options and controls to let even the most non sports fan have fun in the first play.
If that isn't a reason to play your favorite team on the Nintendo fun box, then maybe full customization is. That is right, with the Wii, you can customize arenas, players, teams and fans. Everything is in your control. The many game modes make sure of that. Though if you're not the kind to sit through all that jumble jamble then you can just pick your favorite underdog team and take them to the superbowl.
As everyone knows the other guys have very pretty graphics. Though you know, I would sacrifice 3D grass for actually throwing a pass. These graphics are only up there with the Xbox though. So if you're trying to impress your friends with your snazzy HD plasma tv the Wii will not be your best bet.
Overall there is just more content for the Wii, more gameplay value and more fun.
