I've played just a small bit of EarthBound. It didn't impress me much, but I didn't really get that deep into the game. However, this may, if successful enough, convince Nintendo to create an all-new EarthBound! Nintendo needs a great RPG today. I'm tired of hearing people whine every Monday about "no Mario RPG!".

I don't understand why Nintendo is quick to allow shovelware on the Wii, but when it comes to legendary RPGs like Crono Trigger, Mario RPG, Earthbound, and FF they tease, lie and deny. This is the same issue that I have with the international versions of of Final Fantasies and Kingdom Hearts Final Mixes. People want it, but they won't deliver. All they have to do is just translate the game along with the EXACT same assets, which a small team can do in a few months. Dare I say vaporware?
