Publishers Hudson are really getting into WiiWare. They've announced a remake of Alien Crush, a pinball game with a sci-fi theme.
The original was released in 1989 on the TurboGrafx-16. This new one is coming out in August, a few screenshots are already available:
Krang is that you?
This place gives me the creeps.
Time to suppress another memory.
Not only that, Hudson are supposedly partnering with Xing to bring out a karaoke title. Rumors say that additional songs can be downloaded over WiiWare.

Looks pretty neat. I'll probably get it if it's not too expensive.

Hey! That brain thing in the middle looks an awful lot like Mother Brain from Metroid.

I wonder. Are there any details for how much the wiiware titles will cost?

Heh. Don't want to know what memory was being suppressed. Krang Krang.

This will be the pay to play, but where are Wii owners going to store the downloadable stuff.

Oooh. Spooky.

Karaoke? They would have to sell a mic for that. And who would buy a Wii accessory that is only useful for a wiiware title?
Erus said:
The Karaoke Game is what made me click the link. I have the American Idol game and there is at least one other Karaoke game that comes with a mike (Boogie?). So I would definitely get such a game. ESPECIALLY if it offers downloadable songs. I am all about that.
