According to reports, some lucky Mexicans were able to pick up Super Smash Bros Brawl as early as Saturday, due to certain retailers breaking the street date. Word is that this has now stopped, since threats were made from Nintendo.
Promise me you'll never go bungee jumping in Mexico. They just don't have the regulations.

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

LUCKY! But it's very good of Nintendo to stop them from selling them early because that's totally not fair for the us and canada.

I could have asked my grandma if she'd get it for me. Oh well, it's only 4 days away now.

Of all people it's the Mexicans.

I'll bet the threat was no more wiis or Wii games. That's all their money being lost just because one game. Ok one absolutely amazing game.

Dammit.

Well the reports or early releases can taunt us all they want, it doesn't really matter any more with the game going to be released this Sunday (just 4 days away).

Well at least they got in trouble! Ha-ha wait like everybody else.

Another reason why Mexico rules.

Lucky Mexicans. Yo soy no feliz that they get brawl early, sigh. At least I'm getting brawl the day it opens. I might even be able to camp out at gamecrazy since it opens Sunday.

Ouch. That's got to hurt the retailers.

I'm from Mexico, and I live around the area where it was released (veracruz and some of puebla), but I wasn't that lucky. I didn't find out until it was too late. Besides, those were sold at 900 pesos (roughly 85 bucks), when they are usually sold at 750 pesos tops (70 bucks), so I'll wait until this weekend when my preordered copy will be arriving. I guess I'm the only UNlucky Mexican.

Lucky! But they kind of deserve it, because they always get it later than the US, and no I'm not Mexican. But thank god Nintendo noticed.
Arkangelshadow said:
Smash rules, take that USA, just waiting for online players while I'm training.

Tommy don't get mad at the Mexicans please, we would have done the exact same if it happened in America.

You never know where else in the world such early releases might have happened, but weren't reported.

I am a Mexican and I got the game since saturday. I really recommend the game. I was really excited while expecting this game. Go US, get the game and let's BRAWL.
