Phoenix plaguing Wii with budget games

Some sad news. Phoenix Games are set to bring a string of fourteen budget games onto the Wii in 2008. The titles are:

  • 12 (Games Compendium with 12 Games)
  • Adventures of Pinocchio
  • Cinderella's Fairy Tale
  • Coral Reef Saviour
  • Dalmatians 4
  • Flood
  • Jungle Crew
  • Lion and the King 3
  • Love Heart
  • Monster Dessert
  • Peter Pan's Playground
  • Princess Snow White
  • Rat-a-Box
  • Valentines Day

You can expect them to be badly developed and bland. Here's an example of a Phoenix game called London Cab Challenge on the PS2:

Those are the worst graphics I've ever seen and I've been playing games for 12 years. Seriously Nintendo needs to learn to say no and set standards if it wants to be taken seriously by its competitors and people alike. And fix the dang online.

That looks INCREDIBLY challenging, dodging materializing buildings and cars.

LAME. I can tell every game will suck already because they're all like Disney.

That London Cab Challenge may just be one of the worst programmed games ever.

So what else is new. THQ and thousands of others have made bland games, example: Jenga by Atari. What makes Phoenix so bad?

What in tarnation is this? Is this a beta? There is more popup than pop tarts. This even makes the popup in GTA San Andreas bearable. The collision detection is atrocious. One minute the car is impaled by a tree and the next minute it's flying all over the place. I would rather play the board game version of London Cab Challenge. At least there's no popup and the collision detection is better.

Ah! I had to stop it a minute in. Things just pop up when you drive! If it were like Need for Speed Underground 2, it'd be pretty good.

Do these companies know what being successful means? I could do better than this and I'm 13.

WOW. If ever there was a game that deserved the word "Challenge" in it's name. The real challenge is not destroying your console because it had been profaned with this steaming pile.

Look it's a flash web based game, look at its 8 bit glory. Who makes this poo.

I have had enough of silly low-budget games/ mini game based games coming onto the Wii. No wonder SSBB is highly anticipated, it's the only good game we've had since October.

Tasteless, bland, lacking originality, and really, really boring. Not a good combination.

Could this be a conspiracy to put Nintendo out of business. Or am I just crazy?
