Kirby special event

Nintendo has issued a press release talking about some kind of Kirby-based special event. It's taking place later today (Thursday September 18th, 2008), onlookers will need to "look to the skies" within a one mile radius of the following places:

Kirby Middle School - Birmingham, AL
Kirby Historical Mill - Medford, NJ
Kirby Park - Kingston, PA
Kirby Gate Shopping Center - Memphis, TN

Best viewing hours are described as:

8:30am - 12:30pm CDT
9:30am - 1:30pm EDT

Other than that it's a mystery, but this is thought to be a promotion for Kirby Super Star Ultra on DS.
