A Portuguese developer called Biodroid Productions is making a Wii game based on Chiquititas, a popular TV show in South America. Translated, the title means "Tiny Angels".
Bruno Patatas (I say potato, let's call the whole thing off) is the co-founder of Biodroid. He commented:
"The strength and diversity of the Chiquititas brand is a natural fit for Wii. Fans of action adventures are certain to embrace this future addition to the Chiquititas universe. We will be incorporating the optimistic plotline, lively music and colorful video from the original television series".
The game is said to be an platformer with puzzle elements thrown in. For those unfamiliar with Chiquititas, like me, here's an example pic.
24 what..

Man that's a weird game. I have seen the series and it sucks, and 24 what? It says "24 hours" and also "CHIQUITITAS" is more like little girls not little angels, anyways.
gordi said:
24 horas is 24 hours and chiquititas isn't exactly little angels, chiquita is like saying little girl, so, chiquititas is like a bunch of little-er girls :)
MaxyDawg said:
24 hours. But yeah. Pass all the same.

I live in Guatemala (for all those ignorants it is in Central America just below Mexico) and that show is really crappy. Chiquititas in my country means little girls. And 24 horas is 24 hours. It would be the Latin version of doing a That's So Raven video game.

It obviously looks like a show for kids. I can't wait for Sabado Gigante for Wii.

The bit that gets me is "The strength and diversity of the Chiquititas brand is a natural fit for Wii", what, I have never heard of Chiquititas before and I think most people haven't either, so how can they say it is as well known as the Wii.

Since no one knows about this "show" I think, it will most likely won't sell over 100 copies.

Bruno Patatas is well known for ripping other people's work and saying he did it. Also he robbed a load of people by selling fake courses and owes them a lot of cash. Hopefully publishers will find out about who they are dealing with before it is too late and get themselves into trouble.

Is this a credible company? Doesn't seem like much of a game! Can we see it in the shops?

I grew up watching the chiquititas. They were very popular in Greece to all the kids born in the 90's! The story line is a bit too much sometimes, but part from that, is is a great show for kids.
